Resetting people w large amounts of selfmods

There will be compensation. People with mods are divided into three groups with different compensation... if you are on any of these three lists, you should NOT use any more selfmods (although you probably weren't going to.)

Here are the lists, each followed by what will be done to you and what you will get. (These are subject to change, but I'm pretty sure about them.)

People are annoying. Yes, you. Here is your post to give you some perspective...

1) Instead of whining like a little baby because a mistake I made is getting fixed, maybe you should be thanking your lucky stars that not only did you get to exploit that mistake for months and months (when I should have noticed it right away and fixed it immediately), making all your leveling and hunting way easier than it should have been for those months and months, but NOW you are going to be given MONEY and CRYSTALS and stuff for your trouble. Think about that.
So 20 people got to have an INSANE advantage over ALL the other players in the game that basically made monsters twice to ten times easier to kill than they should be for nearly half a year, and now they are going to get money and rare items on top of that. And you are complaining? I'd think the ones who would be complaining are the 99% of the game population that didn't know an exploit was available like this and trained without buffing the heck out of themselves, and now are ALSO not getting any free money or crystals. THOSE are the people who have it rough.


2) Of course monsters aren't going to be insanely hard to kill after all the adjustments are done... so why are people running around having panic attacks? As I said in that suggestions thread, (which my first post in this thread suggested you "check out"), I said that I will be adjusting monsters down. I unwittingly based the monsters stats off of the insanely buffed people... which is why people who aren't insanely buffed now can't even manage to fight monsters that are 5 levels below them without getting killed or enchanting every item they have. After all the humans are downgraded, all the monsters will be downgraded as well.


So there... either you are like, "oh, that makes sense," or you are like, "wait I still want to complain about how I had a crazy advantage for so long and now I get free money and items! My life is so bad!" Your choice I guess.

Two specific notes:
#1) RoK... you are the biggest bunch of whiners in the universe. I can't believe you are our 'oldest and most esteemed guild'. Its not even just this time... its predictable that EVERY TIME I have to adjust something due to balance, your guild is the one that complains and cries and rolls around on the floor screaming about the end of the world the most. Everybody else is just like, "Oh that kind of stinks. Oh well," while y'all are gnashing your teeth and tearing out your hair about the absurdity and unfairness of the universe that it should conspire so horribly against you. Freakin' amazing.
#2) Islander is a god among men. If any players need to know how to be awesome, go hang out with Islander for 5 minutes and take notes. You will never meet a more gracious, humble, fantastic player. Islander owns all of you. He is the opposite of... others.

To be fair, the RoK thing usually starts with ONE PARTICULAR PERSON, and you know who you are.... however, the rest of the guild should probably try to not humor that one particular person, instead of going "sure stuff, yea, you are so right about how this is the worst thing to happen to anybody evah, for real."

This will probably take place on TUESDAY or WEDNESDAY. I need a good time where I can observe for a long period as it will take some fine-tuning to get the monsters to be the right strength after I lower everybody listed down in stats.

Miscalculated who had to be reset, so the list has changed slightly with some people being bumped up to the third category and others moving into different categories.
