newbie equipment - attention mentors!
All new players start with the beginning equipment now, instead of having to procure the items from an NPC. Hopefully this new feature, combined with the "equipped" and "stowed" groupings, will help more new players stay un-confused and play longer. We had noticed that many people never got the items, or just never put them on... perhaps thinking the items were already on.
