Memorial to Valornians

Upon entering a small alcove in the mountain pass you are greeted by five large marble statues. One of Might Ben and Blessed Cory upon the right and One of Blessed Cory and Pleasant Xia, and Radiant Julia on the left.

I was wondering if Cory was supoosed to be mentioned twice, or whether it was that other god, uh...Darren.

If it is supposed to be that way, I apologize again

Hmm, I think that is part of a guild hall. If so, you should inform the leader of the guild. If not, Might Ben should be Mighty Ben. :)

It should probably say Mighty Ben as well instead of Might Ben

Please only post errors that are in admin-built areas. Guild hall areas are not something we will be fixing, as that is up to the guild.

Did a search, didn't seem to find this and did a quick skim of this thread as well ........ in the N'rolav Tombs when you first enter the lower level where the stronger Tomb Wretchs are:

Unknown Tomb Carved Stairway

The walls of this circular stone room are barely visible though the thick darkness. A magnificent carved stone staircase rises up into the blackness here. The bottom step bears an inscription inlaid in gold, but the language is unknown.

Passageways lead off in all directions from here, further into darkness.

though (should be) through

But I'm not really someone with enough time to read all 16 pages.. so here goes

Mountain Pass

You are on a well-travelled path through the eastern mountain range. High cliffs tower above you to every side.
The path you are on goes both north and south, and a small path juts off to the west.

Falson the Not Meek counts of the number of circuits he has made so far "1,2,3, too many..."

Should that be off? I can see how it could work with both of and off though.

In the lower ice cavern:

It is really cold down here. The light no longer reflects from the icy walls. Fallen icicles have cut off the path to the south. The cavern continues to the north and west. From the pelts and bloodstains, it looks like a couple animals have started to call this area home.

I suspect this might be a difference between American English and British English, but just in case... to me that is an error - it should read 'a couple of animals,' what is there is not grammatically correct.

Informal usage of the word 'couple' can be taken as a direct synonym of the word 'two' or 'a few'. So you wouldn't say 'a 2 of animals.' You'd just say '2 animals.' This is the case where saying 'a couple animals' is ok. so it's probably an american colloquialism. it's informal, but passable in american usage.

On Midnight Beach, it's description states something like 'worries of rabid sharks prevent your from moving north'. However, there are no rabid sharks, but there are ravenous sharks. Is this a continuity error?

Cheers!

N'rolav Caernivale Town Square Platform

"...There is a plinth here that looks like it used to support a cannon of somekind. ..."

I believe 'some' and 'kind' should be separate words.

Also, the description ends with: " To the east a rope bridge has collapsed, blocking access to another platform. " But you can move East to a platform with the same description as the Main Platform.
When you move East it still says: "To the west, and north are rope bridges connecting this large platform to others.", but there is no opportunity to move North.

N'rolav Caernivale Upper Pub

"A bar stands empty with the odd broken bottle and glass scattered across it's surface, and there are several overturned tables on the balcony."

I believe "it's" should be "its", as it's a posessive adjective not a contracted verb.

Thanks,
Dag

I'm not sure if this counts, but..

On Premium Mobile Cory of Admin's

Rainbow Moonstone Robe of Cory's Radiance
The filmy folds of this robe bathe the area around the wearer with the soft shades of a rainbow filtered through moonlight. Glints of distant starlight dance through the mist of the folds and arrange themselves into a rune that blazes the name of Cory in sudden splender as he moves.

I thought it should be "splendor" and not "splender"

*runs for cover from the expected smiting as he hugs his Clerical Robes of Cory tighter around his frame.*[/b]

This is on the poultry farm, at the duck pond...

Cattails cover the edges of the pond and are so thick that the pond itself is barely visible, but what you can see of the pond is several dead ducks and duck feathers all about, the object jutting out into the water isn't visible here, but you can determine that it was to the west. The trail around the pond leads to the north and west here.

Should it maybe be about. The?

Just a suggestion...

Forum spelling error

Postby The Darkest Star » Mon Apr 17, 2006 5:38 am

Hi, don't know if this thread relates to the forum as well but up above there's a spelling error...

"The boards and the game require seperate registration."

I believe that should be separate.
