Ruin Items still having Value

Used A weapon modifier on a short sword I intentionally bought to upgrade and sell, the sword cost me 3 gold, and the item was ruined upon adding the + (??) value to it and I still saw it was able to be sold at over 20 + plat ....

Apparently the +value scrolls still add value, but can ruin the item for use. I think somone else mentioned this, but I haven't seen a response from Cory.

Thank you Ergo, yes I did see it somewhere , but could not find it with my search in the Bug report I think Lord Thorin mentioned it , But I had to make sure it was not considered bug exploiting ...

i thought they still ruined the item and you don't recieve as much as you would if it was succesful

Actually Hojo I bought 2 swords and sold them after modifying each one and the ruin one sold for the same price as the modified one so thats why I posted it might be a bug , but I think Ergo sorted me out thank you

I know, i was only saying what I thought because thats the answer I recieve when I asked about scrolls.

I bought 2 swords yesterday and they were both ruined by seperate +value scrolls. When I sold them back to Haggie they were worthless. So this appears to be fixed.

I sold a ruined item back to haggie and the value mod +80 still worked and I gained a bit of plat from this. It seems to ionly work though when there are 2-3 working haggies. Just one haggie, and the item is ruined and worthless.
