I will try it at 17 marcs then, but the scroll does not mention this.

My apologies to everyone. I posted this topic, without the thought even crossing my mind that it would be a spoiler. I had asked others in game concerning this particular item, and none of the previous users had mentioned this particular restriction on it's use. I was simply trying to get an answer to a problem I thought might be a bug. I will try to do better in game research in the future.
