Blessing Loophole

Postby Ixon Fier » Thu Apr 13, 2006 8:12 pm

I assume the current check is to see if any other item has the blessing when cast, but that doesn't account for items being given to someone while blessed.

It's still possibly to give an item to a cleric, have them bless it, let you have it back so you can equip it. (Repeat)

Tested by Ilaena and Fleur, so it's been proven to be work in this manner.

Just confirming Ixon is right. My character, Ilaena, 53088, is currently wearing 3 separate items with Burden on them. I am not training while this lasts, just letting you know.

I love the change, but....

If you bless something and put it in the bank, bless something else and put it in the bank, lather, rinse repeat, you can still stack yourself. (Just trying to find the holes now) ((Not training, just testing at the bank))

Also, you can use Protection and Greater Protection on someone over level 15. Not sure if that is intentional or a bug.

This works too when the item is dropped.

As it says to the left......I talk WAY too much. ;)
And yes, I am fully aware that currently it says so to the right, rather than the left, which used to be the location for said line, but I am simply too lazy to change it for you.

considering that there is a current cap of level 60 and there are no smart or cool stats... um no.. not real... unless Cory makes it so.... (or another worldbuilder... though I think Cory would have to add stats.)

Balthy would be able to cast it. :P

Cory himself, though, wouldn't be able to cast it.

(edited version) Indeed, Cory is level 19. Which is weird, as Ben is 122, Carol and Xia are both 100, and even Azeraphel is level 75.

Actually, concerning an incident...er...Any way...I got a PM from him suggesting that would be a bad idea, but, I saw he was a lvl 19, and earlier that...like, week, he had been a lvl like...50 something I think, so I asked him about it....he was/is testing a bug...

God levels are infinitely more powerful than Human levels (said by Ben many times), so it doesn't really matter what level they are.

Infinity +19 verse Infinity +100 are both still Infinity =)
What kind of game would you make?
