Strange DG look...

Postby Xanthias » Mon Oct 17, 2005 9:36 pm

For the past week or so I keep getting an all white background, the character, inventory, movement links are on the left instead of right.

The Home, Story, Help, Links, etc... are all below the chat window, which is also moved all the way to the left. The colour schemes on the forums seem to look better, except for the navigation menu at the top.

This happens both in Slimbrowser and in Firefox for me...(Slimbrowser is IE based)

The shading looks all wrong. Here are a couple Screenshots to show what I mean.

Happens to me some times, haven't seen it for a while now. Refreshing always did the job, and I thought it was my own comp.

As it says to the left......I talk WAY too much. ;)
And yes, I am fully aware that currently it says so to the right, rather than the left, which used to be the location for said line, but I am simply too lazy to change it for you.

What happens when you try IE or Firefox?

Ah good call.. Check out my reading skills.. :)
I am sure you have tried this but...
Dump your cache and cookies and see if that helps.. if it doesn't you might want to try reverting back to the original theme that came with windows.

I've had similar things happen to me as well, but it tends to be when I'e had the computer on for quite a long time > ~ 6hrs. Refreshing useually sorts it out, but I just take it as the lord of the internet telling me to go home and get some sleep.

So as you say Hentez it probably is due to the cache being overfull.

*grins* I wondered if somebody would notice that.

It was a search I was doing because a friend of mine said that they owned it. Was trying to find out what it looked like is all.
