Layout Oddities

Postby Cory » Sun Sep 04, 2005 3:09 pm

please post any oddities with the layout that you see. Examples would be the footer covering up words in the page or the nav bar covering up your descriptions.

I think the margin might be different on the Movement page. It seems too far over to the right.

Erm. Well, in areas, the name of the area, Dundee inn for example, is now left alligned, when I think it used to be center alligned?

Apart from that, the only other things that remain changed for me is The "Logged in as Korrith, Characters Inventory Movement" is now not in bold text, and on the left hand side of the page, if you go down from the little red DG circle thing, most of its grey, apart from a box of black at the bottom.

A gap between the buttons and the area descriptions has been reported. I'm putting it off, but posting this so I'll stop getting PMs form people afraid to post on the forums.

There is no border around the text box on my screen, in any area. (Sorry if this isn't what ye want to know about, I'm not sure I understand the different types of issues you're looking for aside from what ye mentioned specifically)

Edit: And the buttons on the left side overlap about an inch to the right on the trade screen.

That's kinda what the trade screen looks like for me, except the buttons are over right a little more. Home covers Logged.

Using XP home SP1, FireFox 1.0.6

The bar on the left (Home, Story) is below the chat box.

Thorin the Dainty.

As it says to the left......I talk WAY too much. ;)
And yes, I am fully aware that currently it says so to the right, rather than the left, which used to be the location for said line, but I am simply too lazy to change it for you.

Funny.........

consider it fixed ;) thanks.

edit: There're empty spaces on the left and right side of the area description, below the chat bar, around the right-hand bar, and it looks like it's not filling up the whole window (you can see the background on the side of the screen, and above the upper grey bar)

The "Trade" screen in Milltown has the list of links from the top left corner sitting off to the right overlapping the items listed for sale.

The grey bar on the left hand of the screen doesn't expand when the page requires a larger area
this is on the main movement screen and the inventory screen

using windows xp and ie 6.0

Cory: Yeah.... I'm still thinking on a good fix for that :)
