Number of messages not refreshing

Place bug reports here. Be as detailed as possible so we can try to reproduce the errors.

Number of messages not refreshing

In my charachter screen, it shows that I have 20 messages, when in fact I have none.

In the inventory page, the number of messages is correct

That post by Cory states that it's about 30-60 second delay. The number of messages listed for me only updates every 10 minutes.

mmm...for me it takes anywhere from 5-20....I had 500 messages, then trained 25% as a level 17 before it said i had a new message, and I could tell by the timestamp it was before I started training

As it says to the left......I talk WAY too much. ;)
And yes, I am fully aware that currently it says so to the right, rather than the left, which used to be the location for said line, but I am simply too lazy to change it for you.

Mines delete themselves on a regular basis, but to echo Cris and Thorin, 500!!! Why keep them ????
and the questions got to be asked has someone been spamming ya !

Maybe he sends 499 messages to himself to make himself believe he is popular. :lol:

The most messages I ever had was 14. I delete them as I recieve them..

I dont delete em, takes up too much training time 8)

and for some reason I have an uber fast computer when training, but uber slow when deleting messages

actually kor, I did all 500 of em :wink: :lol:

and no one's been spamming me, lots of my friends on DG simply dont have any messenger programs

Fon if your using Mozilla it will cache all the character inventories for you...

just type in

http://darkgrimoire.com/cshow

and it'll give you a list of every inventory you've looked at or somethin' then you don't need to save 500 messages and eat up bandwidth everytime you read a new message... so i kin' kill more OGRES!
