This could have been just a small story between two characters, perhaps some oversight of how the text box displays text prompts, or it might be a bug:
It was reported to Alfred that Virgil did NOT heal the bleeding of a character, but may have healed the health otherwise.

Please do not be concerned.
Virgil has definitely not lost his touch to stop bleeding.
Chalk it up to a bit of role play conversations, for pity's sake perhaps.
Far be it from me stop characters from over-embelishing;or Pallas would be squashed flat as carpet every time he opened his mouth about Alexi and the ABV
