Just tried them. Still nothing.

I took them, used them successfully and put them back.

Did you do something silly like die with a box turned on?
You can try them again and let me know but I cannot find anything wrong with them on my end, and the code is stable (or everyone's boxes would be messed up).

Maybe go to a town cleric or try getting killed again.

This would make for a really weird RL conversation.

"I have this box with a monster that should come out, but it's not doing it!"
"Have you tried dying? You may have died before while being chased, and dying a second or third time could 'possibly' fix it, give it a go!"

Same issues for all the boxes. And death did occur whilst having one in use. After that seemed none worked.

Turcko, you amuse me.

When I have a moment from my world building activities; I will smite everyone with a box in their inventory a few times and see if that fixes things.

In the mean time, do not use them until you have been appropriately killed enough times.

Okay two things I found... I was able to give one of the boxes to another alt of mine-Holly. But she could not give it back to Rosaline. And the box works fine for Holly. But wouldn't for Rosaline, and the ONE box Rose has left still won't work for her, but now it can't be traded when it could a few moments ago (Since that was HOW Holly got the one in the first place.)

PM me with your box links in game please from the character that you want to hold them.

I will discuss with you when you have a moment today or tomorrow.
