So... it has been a while since I last fished, but Turcko has a lot of fish that he caught on his bag (yes, they smell, yes, he's weird), so I know there was a fishing spot somewhere. I could swear it was in lake Valorn.
I remember having to purchase bait, then click on a fishing spot and a random fish would come out. Has this been removed? I can't find the fishing spot, although the fishing pole and tackle box are still purchasable.

There is a basic fishing hole in game, but based on it's current location, it seems like something we've only brought out during festivals before.

Do you remember using it outside of a festival before? If so then perhaps it is a bug that it has ended up here. If not, then perhaps we should consider making it a permanent feature instead of limited to festivals.

Current location? *edit, I see what you mean.. I need to get out more* There was one on the pier.. but its been so long.. I thought I used it outside of the festival, but then again.. I think it was a few FF's ago that we last used it.

+1 On use outside of festivals. I think having little tidbits of things to do like that would be rad.

+1 I would agree would give something that stays stationary in the game to RP with... could have a use button and give random saying like So and So's worm wiggles off the hook falling into the water... or fish steal your bait... LOL Or maybe you could occasionally actually pull in fish!

I do recall using it outside of festivals, I stumbled upon it by accident after making a suggestion for fishing to be a thing and then being told it actually was.
Viv's mention that it was left around a while after summer seems to fit into what I recall was the time I found it.

I have always just known it as a permanent thing. I had quite a few of my characters go fishing at the pier after buying tackle boxes well out of any festive season and for a long time too.

Given I have been gone for a couple of years, this could have changed. But if it didn't then it seems to be missing indeed.

Okay, leave it with me.

We now have a new-and-improved permanent fishing system in place on the Lake Docks.

Other fishing grounds with other types of fish may be considered in the future.
