Failed to upgrade an item potential bug

Postby -Mattie- » Wed May 13, 2015 9:07 pm

Matilda attempted to upgrade her hat this turn and failed at it horribly. I went to check the stats before chucking it and noticed that it still retained the 1 int it had previously. I wanted to see if it was bugged or working as intended before selling the item off to a vendor.

To me, it worked (or rather, failed) as intended. I have known items to ruin yet still maintain a stat or two, in the past. I am sorry about her hat, though. :(

True, but if I recall properly for regular armor it removes AC values. Her hat never had any AC so that doesn't matter lol.

Well, that changes things. ;) See, that link just takes me to a "ruined item" so there is no way in knowing what the item is, just by looking at that. As I have never tried to modify a non-armour item, I retract my previous comment, and will allow someone with a brain cell to reply! :)

Sometimes, I curse the day you ever learned to tag images off. Now, hand me that cup! ;)

(Although, the way this week has been, I really don't think there is enough coffee in the world to kick me into gear! I was not made for 5am starts!)

I am of the opinion that Coder would be most disappointed if we never did whatever this is, Hojo!
;)

Speaking of Coder, long time no see ...
