Failed to upgrade an item potential bug

Matilda attempted to upgrade her hat this turn and failed at it horribly. I went to check the stats before chucking it and noticed that it still retained the 1 int it had previously. I wanted to see if it was bugged or working as intended before selling the item off to a vendor.

To me, it worked (or rather, failed) as intended. I have known items to ruin yet still maintain a stat or two, in the past. I am sorry about her hat, though.

True, but if I recall properly for regular armor it removes AC values. Her hat never had any AC so that doesn't matter lol.

Well, that changes things. See, that link just takes me to a "ruined item" so there is no way in knowing what the item is, just by looking at that. As I have never tried to modify a non-armour item, I retract my previous comment, and will allow someone with a brain cell to reply!
