Return of Regent General Kratos Gaelus Amphion

Postby Fon » Sat Jul 29, 2006 10:41 pm

It was good to see that Ethucan is now alright with Valorn. Very unexpected twist at the end of the ceremony. :)

Once, I typed 'teh' to be ironic. But, I screwed up typing and it came out 'the'

yeah i saw some of that, thought it was pretty cool how u (admin) had them (ethucan general, soldiers, balthazar) show up . did notice though that he, the general is level 67, while his armor requires lvl 68.

Perhaps Dirk should learn when to shut his mouth

Perhaps the Ethucan number system is more complex than we first thought

or just can't count.

The general can count. He's just that amazing, that although his level says 67, he's capable of level 68 feats and oh so much more. He has incredible mind over matter.

Or it doesnt matter and you guys are just obnoxious. Did this ruin your roleplaying experience? If so, WAYSA? End of it.

The General was an excellent addition, and surprise, to the Ceremony. I am completely glad that I got to see him, as I do not believe I had ever met him face to face before.

General Kratos? I think I've seen him with the Empress the last time they were in Valorn. Don't think he had all the names back then......just General Kratos. (Or was it Regent?)

Thorin the Dainty.

As it says to the left......I talk WAY too much. ;)
And yes, I am fully aware that currently it says so to the right, rather than the left, which used to be the location for said line, but I am simply too lazy to change it for you.

It was good seeing the General and the Ethucans, shows what an alliance between our nations is being considered by the Empress and the General.

Sep, although you posted your original comment in all innocence think about it, the gods spent a long time putting this together and created (yet another) fantastic experience for everyone who wanted to join in. Instead of highlighting the positive you pointed out one tiny insignificant detail that probably no one else noticed and even if they did, no one else saw fit to comment.

These guys spend time on events because they enjoy it and want to provide an even more enriched gaming experience for us, negative comments (even if unintended) show a lack of appreciation for what they are doing. I don't mean to pick on you Sep, there have been other people who have made far more intentional negative comments, it's just I've reached the point where I need to say something.

It's like getting a suprise present, ripping off the paper, saying "I love it!" and then pointing out there was a tiny wrinkle in the paper used to giftwrap the present.

And yes, I know its a terrible anaolgy but you should have seen the one I deleted about an ice cream cake...

Oh, and while I'm in the rave thread:

<rave> It was great! Thank you for another fantastic evening!</rave>

Thank you, Darkest Star. I know you were one of those who worked especially hard on the player's side to make it work. On behalf of everyone, I'm sure, thank you for your effort.

My apologies to the Admin and many many people that worked to make the event great. My comment was unnecessary.

Xia, thank you, although I'd have been flailing had it not been for Sylent One's input and your initial suggestion that Cassandra assist Sylent.

One thing I am curious about though, was the prayer to Xia even vaguely in the right direction? Or is that something the gods (or more specifically you) want to keep to themselves?

*hopes being curious doesn't lead to instant (or in fact delayed) smiting*

When you are able to explain or understand gods, they cease to be gods.

Part of the joy of being a mortal is never quite knowing if what you just did impressed or ticked off the gods until it is too late. =) So no, you may not have knowledge. Just have faith.
