Light in the game

Postby Columbo » Tue Sep 23, 2003 10:33 pm

Not really a rave but..

What is the idea behind this? I understand that if you walk into a dark cave you need light to see what is on the ground. But does even more light help you while attacking monsters or something? Why does Cory use +300 light (or whatever amount it is now). Anyone have ideas?

Some areas are extremely dark and need more light. Some areas are also bigger. Imagine being in a small room with a lamp, you can see about everything. Now imagine being in very large room, you may only see the nearest wall. Well things can get so dark its hard to see with minimal light.

is there any of these "large" rooms in the currently open towns? I mean will we know if the room is too large for us to see in the corners or do we need to walk ito the room with an extra light source to know it is bigger?

You will know if a room is big if you read the text description of the room and it says that it is big.

Silly rabbit.

Its not like the larger rooms use a larger text size or something. ;)
