CORY!

Postby Xanthias » Fri Dec 03, 2004 5:38 am

Cory, this is just for you. For going through what you went through for the past three hours. You didn't have to do that, you could have just said "Well, this just doomed everything." Instead you worked to bring us back to a world you created. I at least would like to thank you, for taking three hours out of your life, for something that you do not profit from, and making it so the rest of us can play in a world that we love, and we do love it.

Once more Cory, thanks, and I don't think I could think of something better to devote five dollars a month to, ten if you count my wife's account. I'm glad that we decided to sign up for Premium and help at least that little bit.

It means a lot to everybody what you just did, and in lieu of getting repetitious, thanks.

Yes wonderful job bringing DG back to us! *gives Cory some cookies* i told everyone I was going to do that once you fixed up DG. You didn't have to work so hard to fix it all but you did and we're all happy and greatful! :)

And sheesh.. doing it so quickly? A lot of people wouldn't have sat down and devoted straight time to it. You could've said, "Well, I'll work on it tomorrow." I would never have expected that. And won't expect it in the future, either, it would never be right of us to demand such of you.

I think it's nice of you though. Especially for the somewhat... maybe... perhaps... too addicted members of DG who were hyperventilating over it. You probably saved them a heart attack or two. ^_^

Did I mention we all felt like we'd lost a limb?? *laughs*

If nothing else Cory, you've got an extremely dedicated fan base. I hope that at least makes it all worth while. :)

Cory, thank you very, very, very, very,.... much. Rest asured that whole the fanbase is gratefull.
We realize you and Ben have lives have a live outside of DG, and to dedicate so much time in one day to solve that problem is just... well, beyond the call of duty.

I hope you get at least some satisfaction from the fact you have made many people happy. And you have at least the appreciation from all of us for what you did.

What would we do without you?

My thanks, Cory, for making sure that my nightmares do not come true. What more could anyone ask of a God? *kiss*

Cory, to give just an estimate of how grateful we are, there was over 100 posts of nonsense on the RoK forums just because the server went down :)

sorry, i had to get in on the praising even though I have no idea what in GOD's name happened.
The holy-land doesn't really seem all that holy these days... More like the murder capital of the world.

Hoo-ray!

*worships the Great Gods*

Wow, wow, wow for Cory!
I agree with my fellow adventurers, beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Even though i am still a peon and non-premium, that few hour gap of
time where the site was down almost gave me a heart attack,
and I cannot describe the sense of relief and joy when I hit "refresh"
a while later and the site came back up.

It may have been a few hours, but it seemed like days.

Being a poor college student myself, I have an idea of what you are going through, and would just like to say wow.

Heh, I'm even thinking of starting a little ministry IRL for the Gods
Cory and Ben.

(Even though some Gods i have heard about aren't to happy with being known on a first-name basis. *hops up and down* "Jehovah, Je-Ho-Vah!")

Just to reiterate.

You rawk and you rawk hard!

Woot!
