new skill points reset

Postby Athena » Sat Mar 06, 2004 5:03 am

So far this has worked well, When I had started, I plugged most of my points into intelligence, so since they hadn't counted for much it was extremely difficult for me to level up. Now, it's much better and I can actually kill things at my level now. Good Job =) 8)

Meh, I seem to be about the same. Maybe I'm a little worse or better. I'm glad things are more balanced though. Lucky you Athena :).

Mine sucks...

Personally I hate these changes. I even have a fair amount of intel and I'm still taking hundreds of damage from things that normally cause zip.

So yeah... I'm unhappy. =\

Yes people usually don't like changes that makes things harder for them ;)

The holy-land doesn't really seem all that holy these days... More like the murder capital of the world.

This isn't harder.... it is insane. I die from things that I fought levels ago. I cant kill a scorp at level 21.

Ok I have just been battle testing Christopher a lvl 22 CLeric. To Start I bought 3000 potions just so I would have enough so far even after the 50% heal its only taken me a maximum of 50 potions to heal the rest of the 50%, and 3000 potions only cost 180 Plat, >MVL< you should have no worries about buying potions. Now as for the battles I was fighting fire Spirits which are right at my level, and not once was I denided a block or a hit from low Skill. In Fact I was even able to obsorb damage with my healing power, which i am asuming is a special battle technique for clerics.
Here are my stats, In Which My INT is actually set lower than recomended.

Str: 109 (110)
Con: 101 (104)
Dex: 102 (107)
Int: 110 (110)

With these stats. I am having no trouble at all with my cleric. In fact I don't think they have ruined the Cleric, they have made the Cleric Profession better.
