I don't know, I wasn't there to witness the events but there's something... not quite right.
Jebz is suddenly bonded with a survivor of Fartown that now continues the work of her deceased mother?

The way I see it, mother Grassrunner didn't approve of the bonding, so Jebz and Lizbon may have 'arranged' for the whole of Fartown to burn! Then they let things calm down a bit, and suddenly: Bonded and happy together without no one to get in the way! And the visor and demonblood crystal businesses become the start of a monopolistic empire!

Or, you know, they're just two happy folks that found love in each other and it's quite the beautiful story. Maybe I'm paranoid...

You could be right. The way I heard it, Jebz was originally in love with Margpot (the mother.) Try not to think about it too much.
