Walking in a winter wonderland ...

Postby Topaz » Tue Jun 07, 2016 9:30 pm

This afternoon was full of surprises, ideas, and lots of entertaining roleplaying. Of course one might say it made a case for certain Ethucan points of view ...

The air conditioning makes it cold in here and that just added to the ambience.

It was certainly a fun time and an unexpected one at that! :D Thank you Arcticus and Albertus for the amazing RP, along with everyone else that was there.
*grins roguishly* Oh I just love being a rogue...dark corners, slipping through the shadows...*gets distracted suddenly by something bright and sparkly* and...SHINIES!!! *pounces on it and looks around* My...shiny...*pets the shiny*

I found it a most fascinating learning expedition! After all, discovering what doesn't work is at least as important to know as learning what does, isn't it?

And that final demonstration--just marvellous!

Yes, it definitely was.

I do have one question. (If this is the wrong place to ask this, will the gods please move it?)

Arcticus said that we adventurers may be too dependent on outside entities such as the Council of Ryndall and that we should depend more on our own abilities. I was hoping we would, in fact, be able to rescue ourselves, but that was not the case.

Was he right? And if so, what (if anything) can be done about it?

We'll leave it up to each of you to decide what events like this might teach about togetherness, bravado, and self-reliance. As is so often the case, few things are black and white.

Liked the event quite a bit, it reminded me of Aesop's Fables ;)

Various lessons in the event. I counted at least five.
