Not had a good limerick contest in a while, so.... tell me your Fall Festival limericks.

There once was a festival dear.
A time of great drinking and cheer.
We like it a lot,
too soon it must stop,
leaving memories just til next year.

There once was a man in a dress.
"What a shock!" "Not so" I confess.
It's that time of the year
for costumes and cheer.
And he looks good in it more or less.

It's at this time of the year
Fall Festival fills us with cheer
When tokens exchange
For costumes so strange
And Balthy and Ben share a beer.

His costume was oh so scary,
It was large, dirty and hairy.
Some fainted dead from fright,
Others squealed in delight,
Fall Festival surely makes one wary.


I saw a gooey zombie today,
And a large wolf was in my way.
I stared at my feet,
Afraid of who'd I meet,
With demons no longer at bay.

Is this the Inn I said?
With my eyes crusy from bed.
Demons danced around
Scooter couldn't be found,
Then they all looked at me instead.

Candyballs are super sweet.
I give them to everyone I meet!
It's a time to celebrate
And for everyone to feel great,
While costumed in something neat!

As folks drank within Dundee Inn
The lovely Miranda came in.
She gave all a lift
With her warm cider gift,
And with joy they were filled to the brim.

It’s Festival time - hip hooray!
So let’s hope it’s a time when all may
Drink cider and giggle,
And irritate Tyral
Who would like his inn cleared out - Today!

Miranda devised a contest
And for Festival limericks pressed.
When they were all in
She gave a big grin
And several adventurers blessed.

While sitting in old Dundee Inn
A gaggle of gods did come in.
With three Bens and Corys
It made quite a story -
But this cleric’s head was done in!

While looking for tokens in vain,
Poor initiates found it a pain.
But a Knight of great rank
Had some back in the bank -
So now they have costumes again!

As a demon Knight Purazon dressed
To make RoK feel a confused mess.
But the guild were aware
From his shiny boots glare -
And his identity he soon confessed!

Vardian’s ‘Balthazar’ strolled in the Inn
With dark voice and an eviller grin.
Urkki’s ‘wolf’ growled,
Bit ‘Him’ and howled,
‘Cos he didn’t know where ‘He’ had been!
