Fun Fest
Join us to celebrate both the winding down of Fall Festival and our Guild Housewarming.
Date: Saturday, November 10th, 2007
Start Time: 12 Noon PST - 3PM EST
Location: The Vanguard Guild Hall
Directions:
Travel east from Milltown along the lake path toward Caer Laleldan,
turn north before you enter the gates of the High Queens Castle,
at the Caer Laleldan cracked life monument turn west to enter the the Vanguard Gates.
Contests :: Prizes :: Entertainment
Times, places, contest rules, and prizes to be announced.

There is nothin better on a cool night than sittin around a campfire and tellin a tale or two *grins*... well perhaps havin an ale or lemonade ta go with the story, but thats no never mind. I'm here ta tell ya somethin strange has happened at our guild hall. A fog rolled in and odd lights have been seen south ah the courtyard. One ah our guildmates went in and never came out... perhaps you can?
If ya do return. Tell us yer Strange Tale... there will be prizes fer the best tales told. Use the link here ta find out more...

Dance of the Blades - Solo Weapons Exhibition Contest
Are you skilled with a blade? Are you a master of the sword, dagger, staff or war hammer? Or do you just know how to put on a good show?
Come demonstrate your martial skill by doing the Dance of the Blades.
This is a solo exhibition to show off your personal skills in a dance of deadly grace and accuracy.
Bring the weapon of your choice and show your skill wielding it. Three prize winners will be chosen. One for the most skillful and elegant display. One for the most unusual display, and one for the funniest.
Open to all levels and professions.
Time: 3PM PST - 6PM EST - 11PM GMT
Prizes: 500 plat to each of the winners of the 3 categories.

Thank you Vanguard... the party was wonderful!
The cannon rides a bit deadly... but made for a good laugh... and what truly was amazing was the weapon dance. Oh my, was on the edge of my seat the entire time... except for when I stood to applaud the outstanding talent with those blades... my helm off to all of those participants.
I look forward to many more events in your new tavern. *bows her head*
