Yeh, so long as they follow the guidelines they will be considered an entry. Oh and put your number on there so you can be contacted incase of problems of to notify you of your position after the event :)

This may be less popular than other guilds events where they've specifically set up a date and had everyone gather in character to tell their stories, so it's all RPed out.

However, it may also be more popular as people won't have to be worrying about getting to an event at a specific time. It should be interesting to see which way it goes.

On a separate matter though, your guild name scares me. 8O

Lol, i dont know whether to be honoured or upset. Thanks either way.

I hope lots of people ebter as it is something they can do in their own time so it gives them a chance to come up with something good. Thats what we want people, good storylines and well thought out plots, etc. Thats how they will be marked after all. The exact marking system will be secret obviously but them are examples

Perhaps, to work at least SOME roleplaying into it, the winners should be announced at a special awards evening, where the winners and runner ups if any are read out?

Well, I've rarely known anyone to come up with something on the fly at an event.. everyone usually writes it out beforehand, then just gets together at the event and RP the event, copy and paste the story into chat. So, that wouldn't be a problem. Like I said though, the not being restricted to a time thing might make it work nicer, for some.

Err... I just don't like imps. Especially the idea of unholy ones. ::Grins:: I didn't really mean it in honour or offense. I'd say I don't know how many people will take such a guild name seriously, yet.. there's The Clan of the Shrouded Bunnies.

Bunnies are cuter than imps though. By far. ;)

I'd also like to add that this method will give writers that enjoy writing a bit longer a better option as well. Even 700 or 800 words can get really, really lengthy when being posted into a chat room. It's very easy to get bored just sitting there and reading them like that. Posted up somewhere is a lot easier for that and more flexible.

*sends her ten-tonne giant mutant attack bunny to come and bounce on Hayate's head, leaving a big squishy mess on the floor where the lil' imp once was*

I made an entry which I hope is Ok, Hayate. Its not really a story. A series of mini stories which talk about what drives people. :)

Any entry is fine, as long as it is made up of words that make sense and it follows the rules.

Thanks guys for your support in this and I hope others follow soon or it wont be a very good competition, lol

I must be off *turns and starts running from killer bunnies*

There is just over a week left to enter now so I think it is time for a quick update:

Prizes have been increased, they now stand at:
800 plat for 1st
400 plat for 2nd
200 plat for 3rd

All positions now also get an invasion ingot too.

We have so far had 4 entries so you could still be in with a good chance of winning. But hurry, you only have until the 4th of Dec.

Ok, the deadline for entries is gone. The judges will mark the stories and when they are done we will post the 3 ranking positions here for all to say. Please bear with us while I beat the officers of my guild into actually doing some work

3rd place - ansalan - untitled

Congratulations to all our entries, they were all very good. We hope to be running more competitions again soon so keep your eyes peeled and good luck.

The stories will be up on our forum for a bit longer if anyone wishes to go have a read. Just use the link from my original post.
