My Zericturn poem <3
Oh Zeric!
You might not be
The most athletic.
And you may come last
In the alphabetic.
But
Were I a cleric,
I'd wear your robes
Not just to be cosmetic!
Oh Zeric!
Your name is not Eric
To say it was so
Would be hysteric!
Despite my being academic
Unfortunately, I am not poetic.
Though thankfully your name rhymes with loads of stuff!
Like, diabetic
Kinetic
And electric!
Oh Zeric!
You are terrific
Even if sometimes
You are barbaric.
Though that one time,
I gave you that dare
To set fire to somebody's hair.
And you said, no!
Bif,
You git.
Just talk it out with them!
So, sorry I am a pain
And that I always complain.
So I hereby swear,
Upon my borrowed book of prayer.
That this turn I'll be good,
Behave like I've attained adulthood.
And if you'd like to zap me,
You may.
Fear is a strange soil. It grows obedience like corn, which grow in straight lines to make weeding easier. But sometimes it grows the potatoes of defiance, which flourish underground. - Terry Pratchett
