Sweet Chicken kabobs

Ingredients

chicken
ananas
onions
carrots
honey
wine

Directions

Start a good campfire
In a bowl mix the honey and wine set it aside
Cut the chicken into small chunks and soak it in the honey wine mixture
Then cut the ananas, onions, and carrots into chunks.

Using skinny, long, non-poisoned daggers skewer each item in a rotating order how ever you want until the dagger is mostly full.
Place daggers over an open flame rotating them every other part mark until you can stab the chicken and the juice comes out clear.

Slide kabobs off knife onto a plate... (( unless you trust yourself enough not to cut your mouth.)) And enjoy!

Grilled sewer rat in a sweet citrus reduction with grilled vegetable

Take a good 10 pounds of cleaned sewer rat,

Marinade overnight with water with spices and citrus juice

Grill over wood and based with a glaze made of sweet peppers and citrus juice and zest of citrus fruit.

When the meat is half way cooked add some of your favored vegetables, carrots and peppers and grill with a light coat of oil and salt and pepper to taste.

TANGY TENTACLES

Lightly charred tentacles (from only the Gods know what) infused with red wine, peppers and lemongrass coated in a tangy BBQ sauce creates a strangely tasty(?) foodstuff.

BBQ Wrap

For this dish you need a flat metal sheet which is heated from below and kept at a high temperature.
Slice a selection of fresh vegetables of your choice. Potatoes and onions can be mixed with leek and carrot, a few peas can be added. Rutabuga is tasty, as are mushrooms (for those who like them).
The slices are scattered on to the hot metal sheet. Make sure to keep the food moving on the plate. Stir the mixed vegetables around, flip them over – the important point is to not let pieces of the food stay still on the hot plate or they will char. Sprinkle lemon juice on to the food while it is being cooked. Heat until the slices of vegetable are warm but still firm. For added crunch, a nut can be crushed and added after cooking, along with slices of uncooked tomato if desired.
For those who eat flesh, shred up bos meat and cook on the plate, mixing it with the vegetables.
Cut a roundloaf into thin slices. Spoon the cooked mixed vegetables over half of a roumdloaf slice, and pour over a quantity of the sauce (below) before folding the roundloaf slice over the contents.

The Sauce

Mix wine with a small amount of bos milk, along with spices of choice. Warm the sauce slightly before pouring on to your food.

Enjoy!

Tea marinated Bos steak with a Bosbreath leaf and nut stuffing By Neryth

Ingredients:

A thick steak of Bromidic Bos Meat
3 cups of Tea
1 Flail Nut
Leaves gathered from Lush Foliage (the Bosbreath plant)

Method:

Marinate your Bos steak in a few cups of cold tea, preferably for a full Turn. This tenderizes the meat and adds a lovely earthy taste to the meat.

Meanwhile, gather the items to prepare your stuffing. From a section of Lush Foliage, of which the Bosbreath plant grows, gather a few handfuls of leaves. The leaves themselves have a very slight citrus taste which cuts through the nutty filling and the earthiness of the marinated meat. Chop the leaves very finely and set aside.

Next, you need one Flail Nut which must be carefully prepared as you only need the centre part of the nut. Before preparing the nut, you need to clip a few of the longer spikes off to use as skewers later. Taking a sturdy paring knife, hammer this into the spikey skin of the nut to reveal the softer centre. Discard the outer of the Flail Nut and chop the centre of the nut into very fine pieces.

Mix both the chopped leaves and nuts together to make the stuffing.

Once the Bos meat been marinated, take it out of the liquid and pat it dry. Cut an opening into the side of the meat to make a pocket, being careful not to cut the whole way through. Stuff the pocket with the flail nut and leaf stuffing. Taking the makeshift skewers, secure the filling inside the meat by pushing the skewers through both sides of the meat to keep it shut.

Grill the meat on an open flame until both sides are charred before transferring it to an indirect heat to finish cooking and to allow the stuffing to heat through.

Finally, top with freshly cut edible blossoms (the extra gathered from the Lush Foliage will be fine).
