I was planning to come! *bounces up and down* I'm level 36. Can I maybe help?

OOC: Only one day left, less than 24 hours for this. Looking forward to it, and helping folks.

P.S. I sent you a PM if you could please look at it, Miranda.

OOC: Internet access may be iffy due to snowstorm. If I am not there (or disappear after I am there), that will be why.

Viviyana wrote:The tentative plan is to have those who need a portal and escort to meet up at the Inn 3 or so marcs before the set time. They would be portaled to Altitan and escorted from there to the temple. As the date comes closer it will be easier to secure an escort in the needed range (( 23- 32 and 39-47 )), as it is a range that many try to advance through quickly. However, if anyone who can fight the upper pass and the Greater Mountain Bears knows that they will not be training out of that range for the next half-cycle, and wish to volunteer their escort services, it would be appreciated.

OOC That is EXTREMELY upsetting! Forgive me if I'm out of place but IT went to the temple, with help, only to find out that under the temple was creatures I have no chance against!! Makes me wonder if Isould just ignore story events until I'm lvl 65!!

OOC: Something to ask about before posting. That was My characters portal. Something of his own to try and get away and make heads or tails of things.

They are tough for us all, and there were creatures there those of us who are higher in level couldn't touch either. Do not get discouraged. Understand that the admin can not at all times cater to all people who are in an area at one time, and there where more higher levels there to deal with things then lower at that time. Just stick around and enjoy the story as it unfolds.

OOC: Pretty sure what you meant to say here was: "Huge thank you to Bris and Kabs for tracking me down and getting me and others to the temple so we could be included. Thanks Admin for taking some time out of your life to volunteer here and bring us storyline and plot. Oh, and thanks to those who killed the bothersome orbs so we could get on with the story, which is the meat and purpose of this game."

OOC
Not every story event is going to have things that only lv 65 can do or interact with. The admin have gotten better over the years in making sure that they try to involve as many levels as feasibly possible in the things they plan. To only focus on the non-65's would make higher levels feel a similar sentiment: "I spent all this time getting to 65 only to have everything be lower than me."

Please, try to understand that handling 65 levels of monsters is a rough thing. It would require at least 8 different levels of monsters to make it so everyone in DG's level ranges could take part fight-wise in an event. (lv 1, 10, 29, 37, 46, 55, 64). More often than not they also make much higher levels than 65's can even fight by themselves, or it takes a LOT of deaths to kill by one's self.

In the end story events are just that, story. It shouldn't be about the monsters that spawn when you go there, it should be about the RP and the progression that occurs. Please don't let others discourage you from expressing dissatisfaction through rude comments, but try to keep in mind that your level isn't the only thing that dictates the content that is presented.

I agree, and offer my apologies to any I've upset. I was just excited about finding all those crystals only to run into a suicide mission without help from others far more advanced than me. I will admit, however, once I was able to get through, that the murals were absolutely gorgeous! Not to mention offering a few clues, which IS hope others caught as well!
