Of course we want to celebrate this 10th birthday, and it will be accompanied with some events. We hope you'll have an enjoyable time with these and I can inform you that among the prizes for these events we have blank amulets, teleport scrolls, self-mods. (well, the usual stuff.
) . 1. The birthday party
The party will be at our guild hall (in the DINING HALL) on june 29th at 3pm EST.
There will be a contest for those who attend the party. The rules are quite simple:
1/Write a description of how your character dressed for the occasion and incorporate it in your description. This includes special hairstyles, painting your face in kimaldian colors or whatever you can think of.
2/ when at the Party, contact Purazon (character 12387) to inform him you wish to participate in the contest with your description.
2. Beach picnic
I can also announce there will be a beach picnic on june 27th at 3pm EST at "the Beach-Shoreline" (south of the plains) .
This will be accompanied by a classic: the sand-sculpting day. This is first and foremost intended as a roleplaying 'event', but off course the sand sculpt I like best will recieve a prize.
The rules:
1. You will be free to sculpt anything from Trinald, from creatures and items to miniature buildings and life-size characters.
2. The event doesn't mean you have make page-long preparations to participate. The descriptions of the sculpts (and the sculpting itself) can be as easy or as complicated as you wish. But I will take in account not only the topic and result of the sculpt, but the roleplaying efforts and materials used as well.
3. You are NOT limited to one sculpt. If you enjoy yourself at the event, there's no reason why you shouldn't make another.
3. Forum contests
We'll also have a forum contest. But that will be a seperate thread by Brisingr in one of the following days.
