Rokguide contest

Postby purazon » Wed May 04, 2011 6:31 pm

I believe a lot of you may know the http://rokguide.dgplayers.co.uk/.

Some may have noted that below the map there's also always a small sentence, verse or creative description for each map. So I thought I'd give everyone the opportunity to come up with a fitting quote for the new areas.

The one I like best for each area will have their quote and name on the page of the map.

As for timing: The maps finished and are only waiting for the quotes, so I was planning (if my busy weekend schedule allows it) to put them in the RoKguide on sunday.

For the area east of the healer in milltown:

Is this the end of the world for us to behold or just a nightmare for us to unfold?

Drowned Lands haiku:

Grasping sea draws back
leaving ruined lives to show
against rotting weed.

Cursed Canyon haiku:

Who once made their home
in cliffs above black red rock,
wyvern, fox, stoneskin, and snake?

from the Milltown temple

Dancing lights draw the unwary away from the worse sights further on.

For the area just east of the Milltown temple ...

It can get messy on the ruined pier and the darkened island beyond. You'll end up spattered in mud, covered with eel slime, and dripping your own lifeblood too.

Cursed Canyon

If ya find yerself at the end of this rope
ya survived them coils and fangs and coped
pray now, no one soaped the rope
or an enchanter would be ya only hope

The winners have their name and quote on the new pages of the RoKguide.
