Fall Festival

It has been decided that Fall Festival will be a fun, albeit gentle simmer this year. =) It will not be as intense as in some past years for most of its run, but it will be a decent length. Okay, now that I read the prior two sentences, they seem nonsensical. *ahem*

Costumes will be in by Halloween, and other Fall Festival things will begin appearing around that same time and after. We plan to have Fall Festival things available for around 3 or 4 weeks... so that people who are currently busy will hopefully have SOME time during that period to enjoy the festivities.

I would also like to remind everybody that despite the presence of costumes, Fall Festival is NOT Halloween... it is not a pagan festival nor is it the retail holiday that we know out here in the "real world." Fall Festival in Valorn celebrates the gods, life, and the passing of another year through fall-themed things like cider, etc. =) So don't use this as some excuse to be OOC in-game... this is a Valornian holiday celebrated in the world of Trinald.
