The Rise of High Queen Cordelia

Postby Zyanna » Wed Feb 28, 2007 5:58 am

This piece was inspired by the Milltown events leading up to and including High Queen Cordelia's coronation. Relax and close your eyes and visualize -- it's nearly fifteen minutes long :)

The Rise of High Queen Cordelia

I also had a problem opening the link above using Internet Explorer, but didn't know about it until you brought it to my attention, Sashtan, thank you. If you get a weird page with a bunch of code with the above link, try this one:

The Rise of High Queen Cordelia

Movements

I. Visions
II. Danger
III. Caer Laleldan
IV. The Threat
V. Searching for Guidance
VI. High Queen Cordelia

Using Firefox, I was able to download the file. Then I opened the file, using Windows Media Player. Listening to it now.

Thumbs up on this piece of music.

I'm sure I'll listen to it again and thereby make additional connections between the themes so that I can appreciate even more the composition.

Just thought I should add a post to let those using Internet Explorer know that the second link in my first post should work for you now. If there are any further problems, please let me know.

And thank you very much, Carlo and Val for listening and the compliments :)

And just for good measure, here's the link for IE users:

This music is so songful and harmonious. It really is and beautiful and it sounds like it is telling a tale! Its got much feeling. I love it! =)

Many thanks, both to Minne and Ellyana for taking the time to listen and for the lovely compliments.

I also just realized that the link is only downloadable and know that this may prevent some from taking a listen which is completely understandable. I've now amended all the links so they will stream if you do not wish to download. If you'd STILL like to download, all you have to do is right click on the link and save it.

The link below should work for both FireFox and Internet Explorer for streaming and downloading if you so choose:

Since the hosting player doesnt play dg anymore, it is probably safe to guess they are no longer hosting it. A shame, too.
I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am :D
