I'd run out of potions, so I needed to farm.
I asked a passing noble, where'd I'd not come to harm.
He said, "Go hunt the swamps and the snakes you'll kill a bunch."
Soon as I stepped a toe in, a snake ate me for lunch!

I woke up the life stone, my head an aching mess
I leaned against that cold rock, and took a little rest
The noble said "What happened, I kill snakes easily?"
"Yes, but you're eleventh level, and I'm just level three!"

Gloom, Despair and Agony on me...

If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all
Gloom, Despair and Agony on me...

He rolled on the ground laughing, at the success of his joke.
Finally he rose up, as my ears emitted smoke.
He said "Lets go to the Inn and I'll buy a beer or two.
I'll even pay for dinner just to make it up to you."

Soon the ale was flowing, my head began to spin.
I thought I was so charming, a barmaid's hand I'd win.
I still cannot remember, just when I went to bed
And I woke not with a barmaid, but a gooey zombie head!
