Trivial Trivia Leads to Substantial Slaughter

The Crier's voice called over the lands: 'Come to Dundee Inn and engage in a test of wits!'
Hardline rules and boundaries were set forth, and finally, the first question came to bear: 'What is the Second Law of Valorn?'
An old man rose and flew as fast as the storm-brewed winds.
Noticeably posted, just outside the Inn, was a writ of behavior: The Laws of Valorn!
Knowing the second law, the senex returned and exclaimed:
Surely, it is, "Be yourself, everyone else is taken."

Kindly, the Crier awarded the white-haired six marcs with the finest plated armor known to mortals and immortals alike.
Alerted to protection afforded to him by the goddess, he barreled to the desert tomb of n'rolav.
In moments, the corpses of tomb wretches began to pile up in the narrow halls.
Lunging forward with reckless abandon, knowing he could not be harmed, the man was filled with insatiable bloodlust.
And, as if the gods themselves were fighting, hundreds of beasts were felled - their blood pooling between cracks and crevices, seeping into every opening.
No sooner had he begun, the Crier's voice called out again, "Time is up..."
In the end, the man - soaked from head to toe from combat - awoke at the life monument as a mere mortal once more.
