Boycott of Dundee inn

Postby Urkki » Mon Feb 08, 2010 10:50 am

There have always been rats all around Dundee, but now the problem seems to be bigger, meaner and hairier than ever.

Management of Dundee inn seems reluctant to deal with the problem, which not only affects the inn but safety of all of Dundee. We don't want to spend any more coin in an inn that seems to care so little of our wellbeing hence we propose a boycott of Dundee Inn, until management of said establishment will hire workers to build rat resisting door with lock between patrons and rat nest.

Even if no-one agrees with this boycott, we won't be in the Dundee inn waiting for rat attack.

Henceforth I'll drink no more ale from the Dundee inn. I will seek company in Cerbie's grill or Jaymes' Tavern.

I will also protest against the price of rat stew. There is so much flesh this days that management can surely still make a profit if they lower the price.

I do hope our buddy Tyral will join the protest and move somewhere else, even if just for Scooter's safety.

I to do not like the idea of being on guard everytime I sit down to enjoy an ale. Some drastic measures has to be taken *nods in agreement*

First the abyss. Then the rats. Gods' know where this is going to end!! No, in future I think I too shall prefer Jaymes' company until this infestation is satisfactorily dealt with.

My.....no secret I dislike rodents and crawly things - I will stay away from the inn as long as no one who is there needs me... and all they need do is call. Then it will be no more or less unpleasant than any other place.

*shrugs* I'm allowed to hit the rats. Unlike some other things that used to make me avoid the Dundee Inn ...

I'll agree not to drink any of Jeffrey's ale, and at this time I have no plans to hold events there. That is all I feel I can do. Like Vardian, I will spend time there when I feel it needed.

It seems this paper is looking for a door or something to distinguish the rat nest from the patron areas. Am I correct in this? If so, I wouldn't mind something doing the same with the abyss. It is useful for tossing trash down though.

I agree completely. I loathe rats. As I said four years ago when the abyss appeared in Dundee Inn... drink in the 22 inn. Where the decor is tasteful, the floor is intact, there are no rodent visitors, and Kodi gives the best prices around =)

Of course it isn't a conspiracy to get you to train more. There are other rodent free inns.

He didn't bring the rats, yet he did nothing to fix the wall when it still was more or less intact and so far has done nothing to fix the problem. It is Jeffrey's inn, he is the one who is supposed to care for the inn. If he refuses to fix the problem are we supposed to just sit there and pretend nothing happened while adventurers get killed by rats, in the inn and all around Dundee?

I agree with Fleur. The 22 Inn has always been much more tasteful - but the Glass Tavern isn't all that bad either.
Maybe Jeffrey would find some business in selling super-sized rat traps, rat fur coats, rat skin boots, or rat tail belts! It could make up for the lost revenue in ale sales... maybe.
I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am :D

*whispers* Speaking of tasteful: I wonder if I could sell a rat tail belt to Raffe.
