I seek to hire a skilled Valornian Poet.

Postby Corwin Skyborn » Thu May 25, 2006 8:46 pm

I have traveled far and wide. I have slain things foul beyond your nightmares and been hero to princess and peasant alike. Sadly though, no epic tales of my glory have been written or sang. So here I am seeking to Hire a Skilled Valornian Storyteller or Poet to compose an Epic poem or song to my vast glory.*smile*

I will pay very well for these services. If you are serious about composing an epic thats sure to last the ages then contact me here and we will negotiate your fee and the nature of the Tale or Poem to be composed.

If you wait long enough and / or news of your brave deeds actually reaches me, you might end up in the 'Songs for Valornians' thread.
No fee necessary.

My inspirational value is hampered due to deliberately not moving in the right social circles to attract the normal level of attention/drama.

Perhaps then you should move in the normal circles to attract such attention / drama. Either that or accept the lack of glory for your generosity, and be content to remain anonymous like so many others who help out where they can. *smiles*

Corwin Skyborn

He once offered me an ale
and that's why I'm telling his tale.

He used to be mighty enchanter and he used to poof,
then he became warrior, maybe he hit the roof?

I'm singing to his praise,
so that he wouldn't have to resort to self-praise.

Now he is a quite helpful rogue,
maybe his next profession will be music pedogogue?

Now I need a special ending,
that'll get Corwin spending.

Maybe something about the various contests,
I always wonder when he rests?

Fee? Ale is enough for me. :P

You have such style, Urkki. :)

As for the never resting, you're right. Corwin has done more for contests in Valorn than anyone I can think of except of course the delightful Jimmy Kitten with her inspirational (hopefully annual...) Order of Norton contest.

Not sure if that was meant as a compliment or not, but I'll take it. :D :P
