Court of Honour

Postby Telmacha » Thu Mar 28, 2024 10:52 pm

When last the Amazons met, Alexi Corsair came to the party, saying that the ABV was closing down operations and urging its people to stay home from the present demon raids. After some discussion, he left, declaring that he (and, I think, ABV) had been insulted by some of my sisters and friends. I was there; I do not think any insult was meant.

My village, Broken Pillar, has [had struck out] an institution for this, which some of us inherited from our Ethucan ancestors. We have no prince or mayor; when two free holders quarrel, there is often a Court of Honour, which decides the question between them. Each side picks a judge, who may be one of their own, and then the two judges pick a third. They then decide the question put to them, by consensus if possible, by majority vote if necessary.,

In this case, the question would be What apology or retraction is due to the insulted members of the Association for the Betterment of Valorn? I am willing to submit to that judgment.
