Cordelia adds several notes to her scroll but keeps returning to that one particular name. Finally, she nods decisively and stands on her balcony to make the announcement. She calls out over the lake...

"I hereby banish Turcko from Fol!"

*Looking even paler than usual, he stands up straight, gathers what little possessions he can carry and dismisses the guards that attempt to escort him, walking to the town gates by himself. Before crossing them he turns*

It deeply saddens me that steps have been taken to assure the demons victory this turn. I wish you all luck my fellow denizens of Fol. Remember to always uphold our laws and obey our chosen rulers, as it is our ancient and wise tradition.

*With what could be taken for a sad smile, he departs never to be seen again in this episode of Fol's history*

How Folish was Queen Cordelia the Scintillating? Folish enough to spot a demon in disguise? Or just Folish enough to give them advantage?
Only the marcs will tell... as under Demon Eyes the demons have come out of their hiding and denizens retreat to safety.

Bif awakes on the morrow feeling peculiar. First, he shoos all of the contraband Gremlins from his basement.

"Shoo! Shoo you criminal pests!" He calls, throwing a bucket of water after Ri for good measure.

After the Gremlins have been scattered, he heads out to engage in a verbal confrontation with a troll. The remainder of the morning is whiled away throwing shells at Sea Dwellers.

Bif's untimely dimise comes when he foolishly wanders into the Dark Forest, donning a shirt that reads, "Ogres? More like No'Ogres!"

The Ogres dine that night on bifiteroles in chocolate sauce, and Bif is never seen in the kingdom of Fol again.

The great and noble Vicegerent Raffe Rychmin arises with the next Riftershine.
"Oh, lovely - and sparsely remaining - denizens of Fol!
This turns ruler is King Talisk Blademaker the 'Hopeful.' May his Folish reign bring hope of another Riftershine to our fair kingdom!"

In the center of the most royal court is placed a large bucket of water. Next to the bucket is placed a sign: VOTES GO HERE ->

Hopefully, the King Hopeful will abide by the hope of all of Fol to keep them safe.

Perhaps, he should have been called King Talisk the Eventual. As eventually, the denizens of Fol will know his judgment of who should be banished this turn of his rule.

Greetings all,

I, King Talisk the Ever-Hopeful Eventualist, after reasonably resolute reflection, extremely carefully calculated consideration, and after invoking an intuitive inkling have made up my mind--to flip a coin.

The next big banishment? Bebhinn! Disperse, dissipate, dislodge, and, ah, dissolve into the shadows with your banished brethren (and sistren)!

Ever-hopefully and eventually yours,

Tal

*sits in his hall, gazing longingly at a carafe of wine. He sighs and sips a glass of water, a look of distaste on his face. He looks up in surprise as the words of of the Hopeful One roll across the realm of Fol.*
A coin toss? Can always rely on those ...
*he flips his own coin 100 times. Heads shows 99 times. The 100th toss leaves the coin balancing on its edge on the rim of his glass*

As the rays of Sunrifter creep over Lake Valorn, Cordelia steps onto her balcony to greet the new day. She leans over the ornate rail and takes a few deep breaths. But when she turns to go back in, what is this demonic bamboozlement? Her feet are stuck in place! Watching in horror, she can only gurgle as she turns to stone from toenails to scalp. Before long, she is nothing more than an unusual statue adding to the quirky decor of the Caer.

Great game! Very creative curses and with just a little use of intuition, I think the denizens might have taken the kingdom back!
That was close until the end!

It was fun joining Cody in the demons for a change. Let's see who will be a demon next, and remember: Cody is always a demon :D
On another note, intuition can be a powerful tool for the demons as well, since in Fol our word is only as good and true as others believe it to be, a demon can (as I have done) tell others that he too used intuition to falsely accuse a honest denizen.
High Queen Cordelia seemed to see through my ruse though

*feels curses draining from the land of Fol, grins, and rushes out to buy a glass of wine. Takes a sip, savouring the taste as he reflects on recent events*
All good fun, as ever. And it's gratifying to know one's first suspicions were correct. I'll not name the person - they know who they are!
Another enjoyable round of Fol. Thank you, Raffe.
