Cenny's Hunt
((Arbitrarily dances its way between somber and lilting.))

Blithe of heart dance their fiercest each day... / Somber of mind e'er into depths of a fray...
Never to know what has drawn you here? / Ponder with me what lends you to lands born o' fear?
Better to seek refuge somewhere beyond normal paths? / Perhaps too draws your brethren to nestings of ash?
Maybe you're fearless in your chosen respites...? / What then disturbs you to chance surrendering your lights?
Beloved to me is the song that bends bridges in worlds... / Sky-touched, stories say your song leads a heart to unfurl...
Wardens, invite that you share songs with me to-night... / Else seized with challenge, to duel in cerulean delight..
Fervor dims in my blood as I ponder such things... / Awaiting duet or dare of enthralling azure kings...
Ever I wait, where'er my steps my path guides... / Melody my offering which in you I confide...

Cenny's Bets
((Jollily sung and gently sung wry - no strings to accompany this.))

Was once a lucky man who came jolly to dice~! / Haven't seen him this season midst all of the ice~!
My meet with the lucky was short as can be~! / Yet even in the Hand ne'er seen such daring as he~!
They came from far and near and there and here~! / And to each and all he'd hold up dice without fear~!
"Bring on your silver and gold and dearest heirlooms~! / Bring bits of coin you've scrouged from old tombs~!"
"Bring all of it here and on the table coin set~! / And if you're feeling lucky enough you can say 'I'll take that bet!'"
So in fondness we flip coins and we dice away dreams~! / Come see us for ale after if you're apart at the seams~!
But truth is, friend, it's all in good fun~! / As we sing and gamble in a winter's madness scarcely begun~!

Murmurs drift upon the land, and old hurts hurt less for the ebb and tide of time, and the growth of understanding. It is not a song to be sung, for this song was not for another. This one, for my ear alone, and for another's eyes. Self-soothing, as it were.

Reminiscence

Fog of winter's wind whispering worries long since forsaked...
Graywind journey of soft, soothing songs lest my heart ache...
I remember bests of days long since passed to dream tide...
Remember when steps ne'er yet knew toil, ne'er tears yet cried...

My heart sincere that scarce a blink gone and already knew...
I'd my dearest friend...how many can say that's true...?
In the seasons to come we'd so many roads to follow...
Still knew my first blessing awaited no tomorrow...

Though seasons come and go leaving no time to ponder...
Goodbye, farewell, both seem less for wishes well-wandered...
Though there were days when I never imagined goodbye...
Simple things marcs carried away will to confide...

My thoughts are these, at long-last borne upon heart calmer...
Carried 'pon a weary wind and sewn upon my honor:
In the name of dearest friend of mine song dreams were born...
She with ready words and right ones said when paths were torn...

I'll find the words to be there too someday, dear friend...
For memory satisfies...
Goodbye is ne'er the end...

Cenny's Journeys
((Sung merrily to the accompaniment of jubilant zither strumming))

Here's first the hunts we all share in heart
Acid and strings for our ambitious start
Putridly kept are rat's and serpent's shiniest things
Plummet to murk for where ghastly ghouls sing
Yet to be said is a gremlin's creation

Very strange offerings to a hermit's vocation
Almost certainty of the path of our fates
Lordbane is the bold whilst the pacifist waits
Enter now into histories and mystries entombed
Near a world away from phantoms amongst plumes
There exists else a fire fiercely fleeing its taming
In middling haunt's dark sharp claws bared for maiming
Nearabout frosty wastes of caverns chill gleam
Eerie scitters guard royalty 'pon dusty beams
Some and none are these journeys we behold

Deep caverns of kings and thrones pondered gold
All that we are and that we may yet wonder to see
Yesterturn's triumphs to remind what we pursue free

Daring and laughing through an adventurer's days
Greetings to life - our strangest love's fray

Ode to Ravi's Fallen Garment

Born upon a tailor's love and loom, the threads spun, danced to light a room~!
Though all we bear and wear and don, passing with the seasons soon! Here's to a wondrous spin of thread, by a bold eye's hand could oft be said:!
Here's to a Stormy Sunset gone, o'er the horizon, may it dawn? Though our hearts tremble at now-dark, and some about find themselves borne stark!
Though this cruel season seems too harsh in that we've known dismay! In truth we may to find it so, we'll dance in dusks of other days!
The storming sunset knew its time, and graced the world we feel brief! But truly wondrous in this world, that we've such to bring wonders of relief!
Farewell for now, our crimson kin, someday may ye dance in dusk again~! Until that day, in flightful hearts, so here a tale of all wondrous oddments starts....

Digga Digga
((A jolly working ditty))

Digga digga coo-roo! Nothin' rather do-do!
To the mountain's heart-heart! Deeper from the start-start!
Digga digga coo-roo! You'll know when we're through-through!
Huntin' for the past-past! Shouldn't go too fast-fast!
Digga digga coo-roo! Excavatin' somethin' new-new!
Snow or sleet or rain-rain! Better than to train-train!
Digga digga coo-roo! Nothin' like we've knew-knew!
Water on your head-head! Keep your party fed-fed!
Digga digga scritch-scratch! Any foes are mis-matched!
North or east or west-west! Which've 'em is blest-blest?
Hoping for some shine-shine! Or some stories fine-fine!
Digga digga thunk-thunk! Headed for my bunk-bunk!
'Cause digga digga coo-roo! Digga digga coo-roo!
Be here in morn' blue-blue! 'Cause digga digga coo-roo!

Cenny's Doom By Mop-Fop
((This is what happens when you give a Cenny an ale.))

This is a song of embarrassing things! Or at very least one there to hear if you're keen!
I could sing of ales or sales or coal, or of goat kids going out on long strolls!
But this is a tale that's neither there or here, instead it's a tale of a stroll without much fear!
On a quiet day t'was I went to my brother for a reason I now forget...
Well, wait, not my brother, just Avedis, that twit!

And I said I'm brave and I'm fearless and such, and he pinched his fingers and said maybe that much!
So then and there did I declare, there's naught I shan't do so long as I'm breathing air!
And Avedis, he smirked all too gleeful you see, and then and there I knew there'd be stories to be!
He said, "Aye pup, it's sure that you're brave, that I'll hark."
But I won't believe a word until you show bravery stark!

And so there came up the bravest of strength, and I'd not wish to show face in Dundee again for a length!
Through the street I did run in my lightest attire, praying my prayers that to sleep all'd expired!
But to woe, though no townspeople cried, t'would seem that an eye far more luminous fried!
And that friends is how I learned 'Rifter has protections!
Of their sacred eyes against mortal streaking elections!

Rain
((Long tides of zither strumming provide a gentle accompaniment to this song. Many words are drawn out softly in their singing, though none so much as the last of each line.))

'Tween shade and night... / Where the beauty of all of it lies...
Fire and starlight... / Where the pains of our days wash aside...
Clashing... / Everlasting...
Blindness... / Balance to see...
Lest we drown and fade... / From a world e'er 'tween flooding and ease...

But for the chance... / Of a rain washing bloodlust away...
But for the dance... / Though our confidence in twilight tides...
Surely... / For solemn trade...
Eyes closed... / To hear the rain...
Feel its heart beating... / Ointment to a weary ground and soul...

Shall we stand here...? / Unafraid in the fogs of our world...?
Shall we remain...? / Though in doubt from the ways hope unfurls...?
Ne'er fade... / It must be true...
Ne'er sure... / What can we do...?
In the quiet storm... '/ Til daylight or shadows o'ertake...

For my own... / I would for the coming of rain...

Cenny's Commemoration
((Sung in tones drawn deep between zither tides))

Here's to our memory... / To a lesson of days...
Strength of will to mend us... / And of many to forge ways...
Red on the horizon... / And drumbeats afar...
Yet our hands remain steady... / Knowing hopes ne'er unscarred...

Here's to our battle... / May it be 'pon us marked...
Though tireless to be ready... / To the danger we harked...
Dark on the horizon... / What fear could yet shake...?
Though e'er were we torn... / Not one resolve could unmake...

Here's to our victory... / A first of many to be...
Sturdy shield 'pon horizon... / Monument for weary to see...
Warden of life now... / Of kinship in birth decreed...
Though to myth go the many... / Here a wisdom to heed...

Here's to our fears... / Which on that turn meant naught...
Here's to our hopes... / Forever in us, and therefore unforgot...

Cenny's Unseen

Within the dark... / Within the deep...
Where shadows lie, what secrets sleep...?
Friend of the wind-dance...
Friend 'til should truth bely...
Where do you keep in the night?

Across the far... / Across the sea...
Where myst'ries lie, what secrets be...?
Friend of the fire-light...
Friend who quells the pains...
Who bourne from to feel same...?

Throughout the songs... / Throughout the tales...
Where whispers hush, what secrets fail...?
Friend of the ne'er-known...
Friend to all our revelries...
What you bring may yet be key...

Friend of silence...
Friend unseen...

Cenny's Training Tutorial
((Because Valorn needed a Hokey Pokey.))

You take your helmet out, you put your helmet on,
you put your armor on, and you give a battle shout!
You prepare for the training, and then get all turned around!
Give me your battle shouts!

You take your visor out, you put your visor on,
you put your armor on, and you give a battle shout!
You prepare for the training, and then get all turned around!
Give me your battle shouts!

You take your cloak out, you put your cloak on,
you put your armor on, and you give a battle shout.
You prepare for the training, and then get all turned around!
Give me your battle shouts!

You take your am'let out, you put your am'let on,
you put your armor on, and you give a battle shout.
You prepare for the training, and then get all turned around!
Give me your battle shouts!

You take your gauntlets out, you put your gauntlets on,
you put your armor on, and you give a battle shout.
You prepare for the training, and then get all turned around!
Give me your battle shouts!

You take your boots out, you put your boots on,
you put your armor on, and you give a battle shout.
You prepare for the training, and then get all turned around!
Give me your battle shouts!

You take your weapon out; Who needs their armor on?
And you give a battle shout
You prepare for the training, and then get all turned around!
Give me your battle shouts!

Cenny's Ties

All my life thus by...
Sought a sole marc's strength to contemplate...
And share with all my hope in us and our forgotten dreams...
Now with our hope on trembling ground, hear out what ties our fates...

'Rifter-rise brings new things still...
Knowing not the change, still know where I believe...
Though our nightmares chase through dark and day, on you I might rely...
In scrawled notes of the dead of night, your wisdom I concede...

Early days were wrought in fear...
Joy mingled in bloodshed, scarce a cry or tear...
Though our hopes pace dark vales through, it's a journey that we share...
Our future hides beyond shroud of price, to question what appears...

Marcs shan't chase our ties away...
Our lives were broken, that we might prevail...
And if it all comes to an end...
Shan't be faithless, shan't be condemned...

We ne'er stand down, nor stand alone...
And if we've breath to breathe, one another we'll atone...

Cenny's Valorn

Cenny's Dundee
((In the initial verses, soft and enunciated words. In the latter verses, each begin softly, voice rising somewhat over the course of them.))

Even days our mem'ries fail... / Even friends out setting sail...
Even fears we don't prevail... / In our paths to be...
That for all would seem...
Started long ago, outside an ol' town...

Evermore we begin in good ol' Dundee...
In that quiet, humble, gentle plains abode...
Where there's always first steps taken there...
And always new friends and faces fair...
And it's always at the end of every road...

E'er any out of love with good ol' Dundee...
Always find a friend down there to help you stand..
Where there's never been a blind eye turned...
And with every step there's lessons learned...
'Til you find you're on the way to a life grand...

If we're a'times afraid in good ol' Dundee...
Ever feel it's all gone so dark and still...
It's where memories always gather 'round...
And provoke your smile without a sound...
As you put your mug out for another fill...

Never turned away in our good ol' Dundee...

Cenny's Milltown
((Voice lofted, with a slight lilt of melody to the latter words of each line.))

Take your first steps of wandering...
Stand before gates shaped in need...
Blades keen and eyes sharp.. / Hopes high and hands true...
Shan't yet be wearied...
Show us the best you can do...

Here now where prayer sounds resounding...
Where hope dares to be something more...
And challenges taken... / All seasons imbued...
For every in store...
Show us the best you can do...

Northern skies glisten with changing...
And Milltown shows wishes to be...
Steady as mill blades... / Healed with hearts new...
Best in ways unseen...
Humble and quiet and true...

Cenny's Ryndall
((In each portion, all lines save the last are sang with a slightly urgent tone, firm but soft, before mellowing into gentler latter lines.))

O'er the sands... / Desert heats...
Roiling storms weather bare...
Gone-a-way... / Far-a-way...
To land of hist'ry and present obscure...

Magic path... / Ruined ways...
Shine awakes as though dreamt...
Stop on by... / Buy a whim...
In a city forgot what time meant...

In Ryndall... / Shan't yet fall...
Fore'er that its storied remain...
Of Ryndall... / Can mere say...
Among abodes not quite one same...

Nary a mount in the west... / Nor great Wall of the east...
Naught save all that surrounds...
Naught save myst'ries to astound...
Naught save esteem and awe bound...

Cenny's Caernivale
((A soft and jolly lilting tune, bright and merry in its way.))

If you're ever lost and wandering... / In the mountains or the sea...
Take a high step up... / Take a breath of luck...
For in Caernivale you'll be...

If you're ever lost in wondering... / Of what might it be to fly...
Steal a breath up there... / O'er the platforms stare...
In the breezy place that's Caerni...

If you're ever lost in wanting... / For a song where land meets sky...
'Neath the doors of midnight swells... / Waves and cliffsides dwell...
In the shadow of ol' Caerni...

If you're ever swaying 'pon the platforms... / Ill upon that stilted sway...
If you must get sick... / Over heights and winds...
Just watch out below ol' Caerni...

If you're ever lost in finery... / Feeling wistful for the calm...
Take a ferry 'round... / Ride the river down...
Or take the long walk to ol' Caerni...

Cenny's Branishor
((Deep and firm lines, long and carrying, each word clear and strong off the tongue.))

Beside the oceans. / Midst desolation.
Shining pearl shan't e'er see damnation.
Holiest city. / Shan't e'er be rotten.
Testament to all we have forgotten.
Pure domicile. / Home of old glory.
E'er beneath the noble eyes of Cory.

Through the years many. / Many clerics passed.
Every holy one, with a heart steadfast.
Through the decades now. / All our truths have been.
Vague within our hearts. / Where do we begin?
In old Branishor, more life than prayer need.
Though in mem'ry steeped. / More than temple's creed.
Heart of all our realm. / Heart where fire burns.
Heart where gods-men watch, through our many turns.
Edge of wild lands. / Edge of safety's reach.
Where our histories, leap from scroll to speech.
From the walls that shine. / Towers where they fly.
When no song rings forth...
There to teach our eye...

Cenny's Fartown
((This carrying tune is just a touch somber in its sound. The last words of each line fall just a little quiet.))

Hear the battle cry... / Listen in the fray...
For every road from here just seems so faraway...
Barely lift a foot... / And may wish to bow...
I've no road from here that seems so sunlit now...

Hear the sorrows now... / Lost the path from here...
And there's nothing left but chilling fear...
In the silence now... / May simply give up all...
The world's grown quiet like it's 'bout to fall...

Then 'pon the edge of sight... / Whispering in the grass...
There's a surety that here for all we'll stand...
Shan't lie down now... / With victory close at heart...
Though we've lost the path, here for all we'll stand...

We've naught left to fear... / We've everything to be...
Out in the Fartown of the east...
Defenders upon the brink... / Of a battle all would see...
Battle to once more stand and walk free...

And wander further still...

Cenny's Scatterfeathered Safari

Could speak of a gaggle of gooses...
Could speak of a wiggle of worms...
Could speak of things pheasant and less so...
Could say that we'd mostly just bear!

We could be a patter of panthers...
We could be a myst'ry of mice...
We could be ratting out a few riddles...
Letting the cat from the bag would be remiss!

One might think we a chatter of chickens...
One might think we a flitter of fleas...
One might think that they smell something fishy...
One could simply forget so as they carri-on!

We could be a storytelling of ravens...
Or a harmony of hen-pecked old hares...
But the end-all and bee-all of this, friends...
Is our hearts soar to slaughter our scares!

So whilst we could be a dancing of dragons...
So whilst we could be but a bumbling of bos...
So whilst we could be a spinning of spiders...
None so afeather to us as a murder of crows!

Cenny's After
((A soft melody, with all strumming punctuating words rather than sharing their air))

T'was a long road... / Many climbs and many fears...
T'was a long age... / Full of scars and full of cures...
But we dreamed of an era that we'd someday see...
And we glimpsed a world that could be ours...

Here's to the wish... / Its ev'ry life and ev'ry prayer...
Here's to the dream... / Its sudden pulse of life as we drew near...
But we've claimed a world where none have gone before...
And we've invited changes e'er more curious, new...

Now we have faith... / Sung in these quiet marcs...
Now we have hope... / Sung in that all is well...

And we have faith in our every heart...
Come what may... / Shall be where it starts...

Cenny's Steps
((song accompanied by zither strumming that mimics the river - steady, save for brief deviations, until it is another tune altogether))

Two souls once 'side the silent seas... / Ne'er yet dreaming things to be...
Said one to other, 'What hear ye?
Hearing waves upon the shore... / Said she to other, 'Something more'...
Would be mere days 'til both would soar.

Once two souls sat by riverside... / Both now grown, both now cried...
Said one to other, 'What's inside?'
Eyes e'er watching river dark... / Said she to other, 'Sight to mark'...
Would be mere moments 'til both would lark.

Two souls once 'side frozen lake... / Neither spoke, even for their sake...
Thought one of other, 'Was it fake?'
Heart be heard within her ears... / Thought she of other, 'Shan't share fears'...
Would be mere moments 'til unshared tears...

Once two souls sat across a pond... / Neither spoke their long-shared song...
Yet one's heart murmured, 'Nothing wrong'.
Other cast a line to fish... / No passing dream to be remiss...
Would be mere moments 'til shared silent wish...

Cenny's Lice
((once again we explore the wisdom of Cenny+ale+zither))

We oughta know now... / We oughta know why...
We oughta know how... / But the answers are shy...
The Licebringer is on their way here...

Their list written dark... / But their time will suffice...
They'll bring it alouse... / Who's wayward enough for lice...
The Licebringer is on their way now...

They sense your moments of weakness...
They sense your wish to flee...
They know if you have won their ire...
And you shan't escape - you'll see!

We oughta know now... / We oughta not sigh...
We oughta give a bow... / Or live and let lice...
The Licebringer is on their way 'round...

Their hand will reach out... / You'll wish it were nice...
They'll bring it alouse... / Who's earned a few lice...
The Licebringer is on their way...always!

Cenny's Starry Count-a-bye
((sung in style of a children's rhyme))

Dear mother, dear father, see my window to-night? Dear father, dear mother, do you see the heavens in sight?
Said mother, said father, look up to the skies... / Said mother, said father, they reflect in your eyes...
Skip one star, skip two stars, and pass Demon's Eyes... / Skip three stars, skip four stars, share in Miranda's Smile...

Dear mother, dear father, did you see that star fall? Dear mother, dear father, does its landing to you call?
Said mother, said father, tis an omen of change... / Said mother, said father, 'neath the heavens vast range...
Skip five stars, skip six stars, and chase those as they fly... / Skip seven stars, skip eight stars, until they see you sigh...

Dear mother, dear father, if I close my eyes now... / Dear mother, dear father, will star-light bless my brow?
Said mother, said father, just wait 'til you dream... / Said mother, said father, 'neath the twinkling lights keen...
Skip nine stars, skip ten stars, may they carry you 'way from harm... / Skip to the very horizon, and then back into our arms...

Cenny's Battle
((sung like a prayer given song form, soft and yearning))

Many turns saw pain... / With no proof anything would come...
Our hands circled in prayer of hope...
For a hist'ry barely understood...
Yet our fear ne'er overcame... / Although the fell grew all around...
We bled the mountain's secrets long before we dreamt of this...
We sang of victory long before we thought we could...
Upon the queen's strong word... / Whilst demons of all ilk poured forth...
With cannons once of chance or fear...
We broached the walls of old...
And then our foe within... / Though many powers unknown stood 'round...
Though secrets whispered there...
Shan't shake from us a victory we daren't call foretold...

Cenny's Liege
((curious and dancing melody, sharpened with mysterious tone))

Shall ye sing a song with me? Shall ye of royal lady remember?
Shall invite ye now to dance...? As we did with a memory now embers..
Shall ye charge into the fray...? When royal lady bids us to enter...?
Shall ye share a wish with me...? As we do at the end of each winter...?

Shall we share these turns again? As we share whence she descends?
Shall we beckon all speak soft? Awaiting her word 'til the land we defend...?
Not all silks... / Not all gowns / Not all fine'ry and blood-bound...
Not just curtsies... / Not just bows... / Not just respects going the table round...
May-be think a dream of Caer... / May-be think more than can be real...
May-be think a crown speaks all...
But neither skirts nor words lack steel...

Cenny's Flippant
((light and playful melody))

Oh, now friends....
I could tell ya of a fella, give you some gossip of one too, but that's not what I'm going to do...
I could tell you of his gator, or could save that for later, but then we'd have a zoo to go through...
I could tell you of his pocket, maybe suggest that he forgets to lock it, but that's not exactly true...
I could tell you instead this chorus, until I have you cheering for us, but it's 'tween me and you...

Richy-itchy-itchy-itch, boy and I thought that one was a snitch. Rata-tata-tata-plat, thought I'd have it like that.
Scritchy-scritchy-itch-my-back, boy and an ale for my snack. Rata-tata-tata-plat, thought I'd have it like that...

I could tell you of the furnace, suggest it's ever used in earnest, but I really can't say...
I could tell you of his sales, of Branishor's special ales, but that's for another day...
I could mention of his wiles, how they mesh with his style, but not on this turn...
I could tell you of his gambling, and really get to rambling, but we'll settle for the last one that he burned...

Richy-itchy-itchy-itch, boy and I thought I knew which was which. Rata-tata-tata-plat, gonna find a way to sell these buggers back.
Scritchy-scritchy-itch-my-back, boy and I thought my roguedom was a fact. Rata-tata-tata-plat, at least lice don't eat all've it like a rat!

Cenny's Wild Beckoning
((soft and ghostly melody))

Once upon...a quiet wood... / Awwwooooo-who? Awwwooooo-who?
Skittering paws shuffling as they would... / Awwwooooo-who? Awwwooooo-who?
Sniffling nose and snapping jaws... / Awwwooooo-who? Awwwwoooo-who?

Not far off and trembling ground... / A beast of burden with no complaining sound...
Once upon...a quiet field... / A moooooooo-who? A mooooooo-who?
Heavy feet upon the world.... / A moooooo-who? A moooooo-who?
Ne'er go where farm meets wild... / A mooooo-who? A moooooo-who?

Not long after that quiet spring... / Steadier paws from woods would spring...
Once upon a fence divide... / Awwwwooooo-who? A moooooo-who?
Beast did snort and wild wuffed.... / Awwwwwoooo-who? A mooooooo-who?

Wild paws upon broad snout... / Bright-eyed sniffs to figure out...
Beast did snort and scuff and shake... / Near to cause the ground to quake...
Wild dives to fence again... / Awwwwooooo-do? A moooooo-shoo?
Wild yips and darts and skips... / Promising promises of woodland trips...
Awwwooooo-who? Awwwoooo-you. / A moooooo-who? A mooooo-do.

Cenny's Battle Murmur

An evening's fright led us bravely and strong over fields of ancient wrongs...
What in store? We couldn't yet say. But a plan we'd formed grew our spines firmer. Every day former grew our resolve..
For a battle whose outcome our fates would pour out from no matter the end of day long..
Our hands on bold blades and our thoughts on dreams bolder...
That our children's children would know these foes only as stories in turns when we're older...

A company of our finest was that which ventured deeper into ever fear known...
What our foe? We couldn't yet say. But a group of hearts finer none could find. And to find such a fool's errand, yea...
At a battle of import, beside allies we'd trust most be side when we fought for our home...
Our eyes on aim golden and our hearts yearning for turns aimless...
Yea, we yearned for the blood's end 'fore the battle grew fierce...

Our eyes on aims golden, of days our hearts ne'er more beholden...
Though the peace may ever, leaves our dreams gentle as feathers...
As we gather in wake of battle, serene...

Cenny's Farewell
((No zither strings accompany this song heard soft-sung from upon the roads that lead somewhere beyond the known...))

An honest lie beneath a bitter truth... / Memories we hold will pass us soon...
Footprints fall to sands and dust in time... / And bones recede to future's mysteries...
Some may muse it that we can persist... / Some have asked if it all falls to ruin...
For my part, I can only offer this... / Beg your ear a marc, 'fore your inquiries...

Once saw myself caught in eyes of blue... / Though the colors faded then to me...
Once was a whisper in darkest night... / Saying do you see me - I exist...
In there's an answer, or for mine enough... / Of what purpose erodes 'til it's debris...
It could be balm to say strength alone... / Where walls come up, seeking to persist...

May be we realize though we don't say... / But words unsaid are the final death...
We walk from Jolan's, and question's high... / What will you bring, strange soul tonight...?
Coins pour endless and mean nothing soon... / The choicest barter in memories' wealth...
First birth comes screaming at uncertain fate... / Second born when soulfires twine to ignite...

It isn't sorrow that here bids me cry... / But our tapestry that wends with thread...
We shimmer in the eyes of others still... / A mosaic of faces that coalesce as you...
Every thread flings starlight upon someday... / Needn't forever, just might-yet-be-saids...
Some cry for the sleeping in Dundee's inn... / I say our memories blessings they imbued...

A painting weaves upon the silent stones...
Needn't fear that we might be'r'off alone...
Though my wings are waking with the dawn...
Though risk the fall, e'er to flight I'm drawn...
