The Dance of Death -poem

Postby Kenji Muramota » Fri Nov 22, 2013 4:59 pm

Im not ever going to say Iam a poet. I do not have that knack. However this came to me one night doing a demon raid at the Iron Knights Castle outside of Dundee - Kenj

The Dance of Death

A warrior stands ready within the circle of battle
Fear, Death, Dishonor is smothered by his fire
Eyes set watching calculating the foe that raised his ire
A test of Strength, Tactics, Fortitude a warrior and his mettle

A bright flash of steel as the warrior draws, making death his path
The Demon struck with evilborn hate, sealing his soul in fate
A shrill scream of metal pierces the night, as their blades sparked, ground, and grate
The warrior and the demon locked in a ballad of death and bloodbath

The demon laughed in triumphant glee, as he struck a wounding blow
The warrior undaunted focused and struck, causing a mighty crimson spray
The demon fell upon the ground dead, ending this nightmare fray
The warrior unspeaking tended his wounds as he offered up his prayers, and thus on to the next circle he shall always go.

Stare into the Abyss... Feel the Darkness of the First Sins stare back.
