Re: A "Pointless" Story Contest

There was a young initiate who just could not decide which profession to follow. He racked his brains for turn after turn but making a decision seemed quite beyond him. So he got together with an enchanter, a cleric, a warrior and a rogue, and begged them to teach him just a little of what they knew...

Greetings. I am Pallas, a rogue of the lands and officer of Twilight Serenity. I plan to be in attendance as the marcs allow.

Re: Horrify the Honorites - We DARE You!

Evil 'midst the Trees On dark nights when people gather at an inn or around a fire to pass a few marcs telling tales, you might sometimes hear whispers of an abandoned cottage in Verthedge forest. You may be fortunate enough to hear someone relate the full tale ( I've written below how I heard it t...

Re: Fall Fest 14 - RoK Pumpkin Party and Tale-Telling Gather

A pumpkin has been placed on a table and is managing, despite being an inanimate object, to look very dejected and rather ashamed of itself. A wedge, lopsided and completely out of proportion to the pumpkin's size, has been roughly hacked out by a clearly inexpert hand, to represent a mouth. The car...

Re: Mushrooms

Several of the parasitoid creatures were found in various guildhalls earlier this turn. Possibly they were spawned when someone ate an affected mushroom and succumbed to its effect. When a victim is killed, the Parasitoid which emerges is a large and powerful creature, and is a risk to most, if not ...

Mushrooms

Earlier this turn, Avery the greengrocer turned up at the Dundee Inn. She was there to supply Jeffrey with mushrooms so that he could make mushroom soup. While there, Avery either sold some uncooked mushrooms, or gave them away as samples. She has now set up a stall ai the Dundee bazaar. Some of the...

FallFest Events 2014

I thought it might be useful to put this up as a reminder of what's on when. I'll include links to events as they are posted. If you're planning a FallFest event, post about it on the forum (not here please), and drop me an in-game pm if I don't notice the post and omit to add it here. (edit: Pinned...

His mask depicts two staring, cold, blood-red eyes which appear fixed on whomever looks in his direction. Thin pieces of hide, attached to the sides of the mask and sweeping back, are dyed red. Details added in a darker colour have been drawn so as to represent an infernal amalgamation of wings and ...

Re: Nocturnal Carnival- Face Painting Contest

Summerfaire ... and the Nocuturnal ... light and dark, day and night. And that is the theme of Pallas' face paint. A thin black line is drawn down his forehead, along the bridge of his nose, and continues down to his throat, vertically bisecting his face. Half of the orb of the 'rifter is drawn on t...

Summer spiced cider

Roughtly chop some apples and add to boiling water. Make a sachet of your favourite herbs and add to the pan.

When ready, strain through a cloth or similar into a mug. Honey may be added to sweeten the drink.

Re: HONOR - Wood Carving Contest

Carved from a single piece of wood and carefully rubbed down to leave smooth curves, a fine wineglass has been produced. The bowl is quite thin and delicately tapers down to the stem, into which has been cut a motif of fruit and leaves. The decoration continues over the base of the glass. The winegl...
