I just clicked on another character, and equipped items are all described as A Noodle. So I checked my own inventory - same thing. Clicking on the items brings up the correct description.

I am now seeing my own avatar instead of the normal graphic for creatures which attack. The report still says 'Pallas attacks' So it's only after the first combat round report for attacking and defending that I know what I'm fighting.

At the moment (15:30 GMT) my character is in the fire cavern under Dundee. When I encounter a fire imp or fire elemental, instead of the screen saying 'Fire Imp attacks' or 'Fire Elemental attacks' I get the report 'Pallas attacks'. On completion of the fight the main screen shows 'Fire Imp was slai...

My character got the same message showing up 23:45 GMT - slightly perturbed a week after paying for six months!!

It's a situation that admin know about and asked players to report.
