Hey no problem! Glad I could help! Oh... were you being sarcastic? ;) Seriously, though, folks... its sad, but in order to get the game where we want it, we will be constantly tinkering. You all THINK you are players in a game having fun, but you are really just lab rats testing our code and balance...

Worldbuilding Update for June 29

Louis updated the sewers. They are a lot larger now... giving newbies a bit more variety. There are also Inns now. In the world at large, the desert north of Milltown has been created, but not at all polished. I put it there to allow people who are needing tougher monsters to have a place to fight. ...

Worldbuilding Update for June 28

The first quest of the game has been entered. Its a fairly simple one... consisting of you having to beat up a pretty darn tough enemy to get a cool magic item. But hey... COOL MAGIC ITEM, MAN! It really is useful. Talk to the Dundee Mayor for details. ;) I hope to add in a bunch of new weapons toda...

WHEN will these new areas open up, you ask? I should have the next large wilderness area up by next Wednesday at the latest... I hope to have it up much sooner. The next town, the gay (happy gay) port city of Caernivale, will follow shortly.

Worldbuilding Update for June 27th

New armor is up! Everything is different. Sorry for any inconveniences caused by your old armor being kinda lame compared to the new armor, which is much much lighter and shinier. Yes, shinier. ;) I also put in boots, gloves, and helmets. Note that these are just the first part of the progressive la...

Armor has been completely changed. See Worldbuilding Updates for June 23rd and June 27th for more info (in the updates forum). Due to the inner workings of the fancy databases that run this game, once something is in your inventory, it becomes its own item and is not tied to any standard set of stat...

Worldbuilding Updates for June 24

I kinda remade the whole system of getting $ from critters. Direct money loot now plays a lot smaller part, and picking up items dropped by critters and selling them in town is a lot more important. We will continue to play with the balance until it is just right. (Enjoy the RAT HATS! ;)) If everyth...

There is a flaw in the game that some people are exploiting to become super rich. We need to fix this before I can make any changes to armor (because the changes would make the problem WORSE)..... which sucks, because I have it all ready to punch in. Anyway, as soon as we can solve this problem, the...

Worldbuilding Updates for June 23

I would advise against purchasing armor today. After work, I will be COMPLETELY changing the armor system. The armor currently up will not be as good as the armor I make when I change the system, so you may be wasting money on inferior equipment if you purchase now. I will be drawing up the plans at...

Most animals in the forest and on the plains should be FAR easier now. Sorry about the psychotic rabid bears before. I had them beefed up a bit too high. You should find them much more rewarding to hunt now... and the path to Milltown a little less treacherous.

Worldbuilding Update for June 22

1) Strange new critters have moved in with the rats in the sewers. Survivors have described them as "disgusting, lightning fast blobs of steaming goo."

2) Armadillos now have a reason to be angry.

Worldbuilding Update for June 21

Cory and I (mostly Cory ;)) implemented some changes today. 1) Selling items is much easier now (rejoice, rat hunters!) Now, just check the boxes next to all the items you wish to sell, and hit the SELL button! Yaaay! 2) There are now Clerics at temples and shrines. If you talk to these helpful folk...

Worldbuilding Update for June 19

Worldbuilding Updates will list 2 things: balance issues, such as items costing less or doing more damage, etc, and new areas of the world that have been integrated. Thursday I created a somewhat small dungeon somewhere in the forest )for lvl 10+ players). The dungeon is not complete, but it is open...

Yeah... cory "fixed" it, meaning that he fixed the damage issue, but we are still working on balance. It was my intention that at your level you should have slightly better armor than that. Ill have to tinker some more... but thats what beta testing is all about, right? =) Im going to go lower armor...

Yep. Sorry about that. Im going to take the time to write up a detailed instruction book type document this weekend that will have all the rules of gameplay thus far. Hopefully that will help.

Beware item rot!!! ;)
