Health restored message when on 0 power

It's been a while since I did any serious training so I'm not sure if it's meant to be like this or not. It's not a big problem, but might be an error. Apologies if it's been mentioned before. When I click on 'restore this person's health' to heal myself, even if I have 0 power it posts a message in...

Re: Boycott of Dundee inn

I agree completely. I loathe rats. As I said four years ago when the abyss appeared in Dundee Inn... drink in the 22 inn. Where the decor is tasteful, the floor is intact, there are no rodent visitors, and Kodi gives the best prices around =)

Re: A Celebration of the Written Word

Thank you for the opportunity to write something new. This is untitled. Written in terza rima form, in the shape of a prayer to Miranda. O goddess, that thy light should fall on me Is blessing more than I can comprehend; I ask thee now to listen to my plea. Give us strength, with faith to recommend,...

Ballade of N'Rolav Branishor

This was written for Shieldwall and told at their Fall Festival tale-telling gathering. The Ballade of N'Rolav Branishor Proud Branishor in times of old Was once a city fine and rare; With scholars’ works and merchants’ gold, Bold gentlemen and ladies fair. Tall houses lined the market square, Out ...

The Colours of Kimald

For the anniversary of the Remnants of Kimald. The Colours of Kimald Kimaldian flag 'gainst grey-rent sky; A steadfast hand held banner high. O'er blood-tinged earth the last ones came With rightful pride that could not die. Each ventured forth, though ne'er the same; Took on the 'Remnants' as their...

Re: -! Valornian Guild Challenge !- A RoK birthday initiative

With regret, we decline. After trying for weeks to arrange our round with our scheduled competitors, some of our team rescheduled plans to make the agreed time of 9pm BST (31st July) against CAD. We then discover, after making extreme (and expensive... heh) efforts to avoid traffic accident enough t...

Re: Summerfaire poetry (note addition of rule 4)

I've rather frustratingly had net issues, which meant although this was completed I couldn't post until now. I think I've missed the deadline by an hour or two so I will understand if this is not accepted - but as I'd written it, I thought I would post it anyway. Fleur I combined two poetry forms in...

Re: Return of the Six Sentence Story

A sonnet for you. (If titles don't count...) Bearing Faith ‘Tween hallowed walls a cleric here is born, stern nerves betrayed by shaking, trembling plume. Sunrifter casts gold glow across faint dawn; this morn’s soft fingers heal throughout night’s gloom while birdsong heralds faces lighting sky. Oh...

A Rondeau Redoublé , written for Raffe Rychmin. (16790 for 57568) When I am old and time has dimmed my eyes, You will be there until the very end. Our life will shine within that last sunrise, Through signs of age I never did intend. Your looks will go, and I will not pretend, Your mind and sword m...

*a bit hesitantly* While I agree that people shouldn't be joining the first guild that approaches them (and there have always been guilds who exploit that) I'm not sure I like this idea. Even counting mistakes people make when joining guilds too quickly, learning about guilds and meeting people with...

Rubaiyat for Topaz For those who wait, the Winter drear Must seem to last throughout the year And ev'ry frosted breath must take From deep within, such pain and fear. For sons at war their lives forsake, For those who fearful journeys make, For family lost in this dark age, Unending wait; asleep, a...

Thank you for the challenge. Milltown, once proud centre of commerce, lay desolate under rampant restless ravage by demon hoards with endless hate. Trembling girl helped steadfast father wait, holding his hand, fast heartbeat savage beneath pale breast, soft voice terse. “Why papa, in leaving we m...

A rhyme royal for Autumn. In burnished hues to lie upon the ground the leaves descend with every whispered breeze; a fallen moment, shed without a sound and lost forever by denuded trees. A russet carpet spreads across the leas while all around the air is crisp and bright – Autumn is here, with so...

JK, Karl, Ferdinand, and the Orphan Rescue

Here is a quick tale written in game. It was a spur of the moment scribble inspired by Jezzara's poem on the Bos and Azure's excellent improvised tale on the same subject. I'm posting as it was told, with the full awareness that it poetically isn't great... but it recounts a bit of (fictional) DG h...

Well, I can't really speak for admin so I was being circumspect. I'm sure they won't perish in there unrescued, one way or another.

And the thread was a report from the CSB of the same thing. It was resolved eventually, though it's a bit unclear how.

Thank you. So the leader can't get back into the room at all? Or can't change the settings when back in there? Because if they can get in but can't change it, then maybe they've a very low level of guild points? If not... here is a previous report. http://www.darkgrimoire.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=5301...

I actually tried to train today, and managed to die twice. I found myself, as described by Azure above, unable to move for the rest of the hour - despite having a premium account. I would be really grateful if someone could look into it when you have time, as Ben suggested posting here if it wasn't ...

With open mouth he listened to The tales he heard around, While feeling more than slightly new And making not ...
