At the Shipwrecked Boat of the eastern beach of Kilican.

The large boat appears to be run aground on a reef created by a cooling water flow from the volcano to your west.

Should be lava flow.

My understanding of opaque is that you would not be able to see through it, perhaps translucent or semiopaque would be more appropriate? Also in the Sea Dweller Suzerainty - Corrido...

I am still having this issue it seems to be more of an issue with the Old invasion ingots rather than an issue with the crystals.
I am sure I am not the only one experiencing this though.

I also had considered the old crystal issue which is why I mentioned it in the original question. Today I farmed up a brand new brown crystal and it still gave me the same message so it appears the the brown crystals will not absorb ingots that are labeled as Old Invasion Ingots. Might just be a bug...
