If you had been looking at the forum and looked at the Crazy Carlos Contest thread (the original one) and had a DG window open this might have caused your error - when the stuck threads occur they cause DG to hang as well.

The last time it happened was for Edenn on her contest thread and she was the only poster and didn't have a graphical signature. Her second thread worked and I don't think she made any changes.

So it's not always signatures that cause the problem, at least that's the way it seems.

I also have this problem, I originally thought it was coincidence but I've since tried it again and the same thing happened. I have the forum and game open in separate windows and as soon as I look at that thread DG pages load very slowly before giving a generic server can't be found error.
