Hrumpf! I already knew from context clues in 2 or more of your much previous posts here on the forum. But i'm not one to blab secrets!

Just be sure not to retire from DG without first giving me all your rare and valuable gear. Since you're not leaving then thats actually a much better reward than selling off RARE Mylor memorabelia Items...

I'm just poking fun at Corwin, btw. If I wanted to use an example of someone really unable to figure the written word, I'd have piled on Enroshia.

But I did also want to clarify in case there were people who would be misled by Corwin's statement in that previous post.

Ixon wouldn't really be the character he is without having met young Mylor and offering him a spot in the RoK.

I speak for both me and Ixon when I say that Dundee Inn seems a little less brighter without Mylor, even if he was always drinking.

A certain memory comes to me when I think of Mylor, and I wish I could remember it in its entirety.

It happened in the Dundee Inn. Mylor, and Agape were there and we were RPing quite nicely before I had a slip of the fingers and the wrong word got posted in the chat. Sadly that one word being typed wrong changed the entire context of the sentence and I had the players of Agape and Mylor in chuckles. They both just went right with it though, and made it memorable.

I also remember a certain time in the Tavern of Glass, where Mylor was, once again, trying to get Venus to stand upon a table. I had wandered in as Xanthias and was asked if I would like to help. Many things happened, Venus never did get up on that table... Inevitably Mylor ended up hearing that Xanthias didn't drink ale. (*SHOCKED*) Somehow, and I don't quite remember how, Mylor had him drinking in no time. It wound up with Mylor playing one of the best, and oldest, bar tricks on him. He had to drink his last ale upside down, and the reasoning, if you were a bit tipsy, seemed logical. Xanthias tried, and ended up drenched and spluttering, much to Mylor's amusement.

There were more, with Xanthias, and other alts. Things that fleshed them out, and things that made them what they were today.

Thanks a million Mylor, and thanks to Carlo for the character and time you put into him.

May the Gods bless Mylor and guide his path as he sets out on the next phase of his journey -- one, unfortunately, we can not follow him on. May he find new tales to be told and new songs to be sung. Most of all, may he never be forgotten by the people of Valorn for his quick wit and good heart.

Mylor will be missed by many.

Oh darn. It was inevitable that I should miss a person or two in my listing. I should have included Allorna Morningstar, Maji, and Von Gmyrek in my list of people who threw in varied conversation.

Allorna, Ruby, Agape, and Mylor maintained an extended scene one night in Dundee Inn a few months ago. A new player came in and was willing enough to talk and got pulled into the conversation for a bit before it broke up for the OOC reason of people needing sleep. I wondered at the time if the new player would be disappointed in finding no other such conversation that night.

And the night Richard got Von the jingley jangley dancing boots was memorable fun.

Mylor. Now I cannot be sure if you are checking these forums, and can only hope that you are.

You should never have thanked me, for it was I who learned from you, Venus, and most of the others on your list. It was an honor to roleplay with someone of your caliber and I am nothing but thankful for having met you one random day in Milltown (or was it Dundee? Who knows, it's been years!). I am obviously not alone in this sentiment, based on the replies posted here, and I am humbled at your mention of me in your list.

I hope that this message finds you well, friend.

You probably dont remember little ol' me, Carlo, but Isoyami certainly remembers you. :D

Some of Iso's fondest memories in his early days are of resting and chatting in the room above Milltown in with Venus, Llyewell, Eshthala, Haleth and yourself. The RP was phenomenal, and I'm saddened to see it go.

I always enjoyed chatting with you and crossing wits... of course being as dumb as I looked I usually got the short end of the argument.... except once, when I remember Iso outmaneuvering Mylor in a discussion. I don't remember what it was about, I just remember it happened.

And thanks, Carlo, for all your awesome critiques and input both as a player and as your characters, you helped shape DG into the awesomeness it is.

And I just wanted to thank you again for the cool little rave you once wrote about me. A rave from you is one of the highest praises anyone can get, in my honest opinion.

((Just to refresh your memory... http://www.darkgrimoire.com/bb/viewtopi ... ht=lasagna))

So thanks, just for being here and making things that much more awesome with your presence. :D

It's cool though, Urkki. This is the first appearance Ambrose has made in two years, and I'm very glad to see the post from him.

Yes, Iso, I didn't even need to look to know that I titled the post "Lasagna" and used it as a comparison. I still remember quite a bit from the scene in fact. It was nice to watch and enjoy. And yes, there were many times actually that people bested Mylor in arguments and debates, though the character didn't always have the grace to concede. I have a vague memory of Mylor conceding to Isoyami on a point in a lighthearted manner.

And Vardian, I recall at least one scene with Llyewell at the glade. As I've said many times, the variety of interactions with a variety of characters served as backdrop, inspiration, and material for some of the best play I enjoyed with the usual suspects. My thanks to hundreds of people for that.

Oops, sorry for reviving an old thread. I didn't look at the date, I just saw it was near the top of the forum list and thought it was worth a post.

I'm glad you think of that little scene so highly, Mylor, as I know your RP skills far outstrip mine. :D

I see you remember it as well...it was an important enough event for Isoyami that he still remembers it, after all for a long time Iso considered Mylor the number 1 mortal thinker and wit in Valorn, and was glad for the chance to cross wits with him.

I just wanted to reiterate thank you, Carlo, for all the time and effort you put into raising the bar for RP in Valorn, and all the help and guidance you've given to me, and everyone else you've met. :D

I resuscitated this thread, actually, but at the time I thought it might be the only chance to make contact with carlo, as I was unsure how long he would be playing his new character, if he even kept playing for much longer at all, or whether or not I would be able to find him in-game if he was...

As it turns out, within four minutes of replying to this thread, I received a message from Mr. Urrki here with all the info I needed. Woot!
