Ryndall

Postby Elisabeth » Wed Jul 22, 2009 11:40 am

Where is Ryndall located exactly? I mean, is it a part of Valorn, physically? And what happened there? I gather that the people there were turned to zombies or some such thing? This should probably go in the History section, but I'm scared to post it there.

A very good question to ask IG in fact. As is the history of what happened to it. ;)

Actually, the history section has long since been locked... mostly my fault too for not adhering to the rules.

Maybe this question was allready answered in the history section .... *winks*

Other tomes and scrolls can also be found about the topic. Nevertheless it remains an interesting topic to discuss in game, mostly because of the confusion that sometimes arises with adventurers between Rynn, Ryndall and the township of new Ryndall. For information on all this and much more, ... find your local scholar and buy their favorite drink.

*Elisabeth sits at a small, wooden desk in a vast library, a stack of tomes to her left. Her eyes glimmer, reflecting the flame of the candle which she is reading by.*
I understand now.
*Elisabeth flips through a stack of ancient, yellowed documents. She pushes her hair behind her ears absently*
Ryndall is quite possibly the most valuable asset in our struggle against the Demon Lord. Or the Council of Ryndall, to be more specific. It is quite possible that this council is the only thing between Valorn and utter devastation. Now I see why it is hidden. And why the attack on the township so long ago was such a cause for alarm.
*She ponders for a moment, looking quite posed*
Note to self, Thank the 'Council' if given the opportunity.

I'd talk to some of the knights and/or seasoned adventurers, like Thorin or Korba because it's highly debateable that it's the of the most value.
Iron Knight Hojo Musachi It doesn't look evil...maybe we should lure it back to the hills?
Hojo Musachi is gored to death by the strangely friendly looking yet evil bos.

I am going back on memory from WAY back in the day (5 years ago). Please forgive me if I don't have all my facts correct and maybe someone can chime in and let me know if I am wrong any where, but here it goes.

EDITED BY ADMIN:

I really appreciate that people have such an interest in things like this, and I am delighted that people do still remember early history of the game. However, as was pointed out earlier on in this thread, if you could pass on this knowledge in-game it allows for roleplay between you and the chance of new players who haven't found the forum possibly overhearing and having the benefit of your wisdom as well.

Thank you,
M.
