You know you've been playing DG too long ...

Come here to tell your tales and meet with others. (In-character talk only)

You know it's been too long when you can sit down and mentally map out the course between any 2 points in valorn and not be off by more than 1 step...

Or

You know it's been too long when you constantly have 10 different people on your friends list saying hello and you absolutely DO NOT rememeber meeting them.
Trying to make sense of gods and goddesses has led many men to ruin. I suggest you avoid it from now on.

You know you played too long

-when you go on msn messenger and when asking someone if they are 'away', you actually say 'are you awake', in the middle of the day.

-when someone asks you where to go and you say 'west' meaning 'left'.

-when you constantly call paper 'parchment'.

And yes, i have done all three

You know you've played too much DG when -

1. Your DG girlfriend/boyfriend breaks up with you and you weep on your friend's shoulder in real life.

2. Your bondmate divorces you and you take it to a real-life court and totally embarrass yourself.

((dangerous.....!))

You tell someone who has been trying to get hold of you at work you were meditating

You go to the kitchen to make tree moss tea

Expressing annoyance at something RL by saying 'Oh by Ben's holy beard'

When you write Islander when you mean Island or Isle

You know you've been playing DG too long when...

...you go up to some wierd guy on the street and ask him if he has a flaming broardsword.

...you actually tried to hunt in your backyard.

...you tell time by marcs.

...if you remember when all area descriptions disappeared.

...if you would have little trouble navigating around if that happened again.

As it says to the left......I talk WAY too much. ;)
And yes, I am fully aware that currently it says so to the right, rather than the left, which used to be the location for said line, but I am simply too lazy to change it for you.

It's bad if you could find your way all across Valorn without making a mistake.

Thanks to Azure for helping me find this....and yes Hojo I know it is an old thread but I just had one of those "moments"

You know you have been playing to long when you wander to the fridge for a drink, get distracted mid step, doing what ever distracted you and then sit down wandering what you got up for in the first place and mutter to yourself "Ale." Waaay to long.
