I remember when......

As a new adventurer of this land I thought it would be interesting if we shared funny stories of the past. As I am still new, my stories are quite limited, but I would love to hear some great stories of adventurers that have been around some time.

If you could leave a brief story that starts off "I remember when..."

If you don't mind, I'll give an example

I remember when I first stepped on to the land of Valorn. There was this person called World Crier that seemed to follow my footsteps and and loved to chat about problems within the land. World Crier was quite talkative but never responded to the things I said in chat. It wasn't until I looked at World Crier, that I realized just how foolish and new I was.

The best way for high levels to get experience was to suicide 2 twice at the end of the hour on higher level mobs, rather than kill steadily aka it took over 50 clicks to kill a single mob.

When dragons roamed the land aka how JKD and Grom were Marked (dragon urine I swear!)
